I bought the wrapsol at Frys today. If you do this, check the boxes carefully. My box had one sticker that said 17" and another sticker that said it was for a smaller one. The way the boxes are, anyone can open one on the floor.
Wish I had read this before I went to Fry's. When I bought my Wrapsol and got it home, I realized the box had no spray, no squeegee, and no cloth in it.

Annoying. I had to drive all the way back right around rush hour (because I'm impatient).
I had grabbed the last one for a 13" MBP, but they agreed to just give me the spray, cloth, and squeegee from one of the other packages. It took me and the customer service rep two packages to find all the items. So if you plan to buy from a retail store, definitely double check the contents before you leave the store.
Pictures of the Wrapsol installed sold me on it over the IS/BSE this time around. I liked the matte look over the shiny/grippy look of the other shields. I have installed the IS/BSE on probably 4 Mac laptops at this point, so I felt comfortable putting it on.
My install:
I found that the Wrapsol pieces did not slide as easily on the MBP when wet. This made aligning a bit more difficult. I'm not sure if it's the content of the spray or the material. I've noticed in the past that when any shield spray is more watery and less soapy, it slides with more difficulty. So perhaps that's the reason.
Either way, it took me about 6 tries to line up the lid, and another 5 or 6 tries on the bottom piece. I put a large, thin microfiber under the lid, so when I squeegeed out water, it went directly onto the overhanging edges of the microfiber. This definitely worked better for absorbing water immediately and I got no excess moisture on edges or near ports.
Once the lid was lined up, it was fairly easy. The squeegee worked well (better than a credit card) and I had almost no bubbles. The corners were a little annoying, but I just let it set a bit, then pressed them down with my fingers. After a couple of tries they stuck. I wanted my corners perfect, so I was patient through this part.
The bottom was trickier, only because of the screw/feet holes. I got lucky and was able to line it up right fairly quickly. I did this squeegeeing slower, since I had to wipe the water as I did. For some reason I was far more paranoid about the water during this install, and I've done lots of IS/BSE installs. Probably because the MBP I was doing it on was literally hours old. Once the bottom was done and bubble-free, I did the palm rest.
This actually proved to be the most difficult area. The thin strips for above and below the track pad stretched a little while I was pulling the piece free of its backing. This affected alignment. I managed to get it mostly perfect, but I have a sliver of overhang on the right side of my palm rest. It's too small for me to trim with scissors, even tiny ones, so I may just leave it alone. Otherwise the coverage is excellent fit-wise.
I skipped the track pad piece because I prefer my track pad naked.
Almost 12 hours later, I have one tiny bubble that I can see, and no hairs, dust, or particles trapped under it. The install looks fantastic.
Overall:
The look of the Wrapsol is excellent. I was a former IS/BSE disciple for the peace of mind of no scratches, so I have always been pro-shield. I must say I really prefer the matte finish. It is more like the original look, and feels less rubbery with no orange peel.
Cost: $29.99 + tax at Fry's.
Time: 36 minutes
I'll see if I can snap some pictures of the finished product later on.
