I'm about to take mine to the mall and have them put this thing called ghost armor I have it on my ipad3 and iPhone4 they have this matte color that looks great anyone tried this on the rMBP yet? It is like 90 I believe

Does anyone know if either the Zagg or the Wrapsol covers the sides and corners? I'm pretty sure the Wrapsol doesn't, but I'm wondering if the Zagg does. I have the Zagg on my iPad and it includes all corners and I love it. However, after reading what others have posted re the Wrapsol, I'm leaning toward that for my rMBP.

If you order the FullBody BestSkinsEver it will cover the sides.

Well I got the iCarbons Brushed Aluminum for the rMBP and hate it. I expected the look to be the exact same as the rMBP case, but its not.

Its graining and feels funny. I'll be returning.

Am I right that this is similar to Zagg and Wrapsol in that it is a "sticky" that is applied to the rMBP? Also, if I already have the Wrapsol and all I want this for is the sides, does either the top or bottom "only" options come with the side pieces?

It is 0.50 lbs and the dimensions are about 16 x 4 x 7 (h/w/l). Use the promotion code "facebook" to get a 25% off to help alleviate that hefty shipping cost to canada.

This is crazy! Why do companies charge so much to ship to Canada?

How does the wrapsol feel? I'm looking for something that is not "tacky", sticky, or grabbing feeling. I've tried bestskinsever and zagg on my ipod touch and those were my main complaints. My fingers couldn't glide very well over the surface because it was so sticky and tacky feeling. The zagg felt rough.

No it is not sticky or tacky, my fingers slide over it, there is a slight texture to it. (It's less slippery than naked.) But thats more do to the texture not because it has that sticky feeling.

I uses wrapsol on my iPad and MBP Late 2011 and now for my MBPR. I like the texture of the wrapsol than Bodyquardz. I removed the wrapsol on my iPad when it was replaced and there was no sticky residue left on the iPad. Worth for me..

Great to hear there wasn't any residue. I was wondering about that.

Yesterday I covered my rMBP with the full Wrapsol kit. Installation went well. You do want things wet enough so the skin can slide in order for perfect positioning.

The skin is matte, not shiny, with just the right amount of grip. Very nice.

However, I ended up removing it from the trackpad. Although the Wrapsol's texture wasn't unpleasant, the smooth trackpad felt better to me.

I ordered the full kit which included the grip pad for the bottom. I might skip the mega-grip pad since the skin's grippyness feels just right. The grip pad might be overkill.

:apple:

Anyone know where to get the wrapsol folio for the rMBP in europe?

Wrapsol keep ignoring this question over twitter, facebook and email ...

Agree. I had to remove the Wrapsol from 2 different MacBook Airs b/c of problems and the Apple store needed to open the bottom. Each time it was easy to remove w/ no residue or stickiness.

Also, Wrapsol provides a lifetime replacement for when you have to remove the skin. Just stick the old skin on a piece of paper, take pics of it to send them, fill out the form online and they will send you another one free. Well, except for a $7 shipping/handling fee. But given that you are getting a brand new one, its worth it.

I bought Wrapsol after reading these forums and I am in love with it. The only things I didn't install was the grip pad and trackpad.

as wrapsol is not selling any more, what other full body are similar to wrapsol ?

Just got a new 15" Haswell Retina and went to order Wrapsol like I have for every other Apple product I've bought for the last 5 years and was shocked to see they are out of business...what gives?
