Hopefully you realize how popular MySpace is nonetheless.

...Amongst the demographic who can't afford to fill an iPod because it costs $30,000? :p :D

I can see Facebook beating out MySpace eventually, though. I've had my FB account since late 2006, back before anybody had ever heard of it. I still remember having only about 10 friends, hearing the echoes and seeing tumbleweeds rolling by. ;) Now, it's very very popular and for good reason: None of the horrifyingly cluttered profiles like MySpace has. HTML/CSS is the worst thing that ever happened to social-networking sites.

Now if that only applied to my area.

That's unfortunate. Myspace is a mess. Facebook is so much cleaner looking and easy to use. Myspace is also playing the catch-up game, similar to MS with their recently added copy of FB's chat bar which has since been removed for some reason.

Better off getting NPR over the air on radio.
Why? I have an app for that, and if I leave any metropolitan area, I loose NPR. There is an hour long stretch between L.A. and Denver where all you can get is Rush Limbaugh. (One station on AM, no stations on FM. Otherwise known as purgatory.) But I'll grant you, in that stretch, I don't think I could get enough data service to stream NPR anyway. But there are plenty places where I could get data service, and no NPR station.

Quite true. Sadly I don't think the ratio of several hundred MySpace users to the handful of FaceBook ones is going to change here.

Data service?

What do you guys think about Apple's New Competition?

This fall the touch screen, accelerometer, web browsing, OLED Zune HD is coming out. How much do you think this will effect the updates on the Ipod touch?

Although a touch screen was demoed, multi-touch was not. One wonders if pinch zooming, resizing, and multi-touch functionality will be available on the Zune HD. A Coverflow like portrait mode for play lists is also lacking. Web browsing quality has yet to be determined, as is visibility of the OLED screen in sunlight. Until it is released, however, the Zune HD will have absolutely no effect on the soon to be released updated iPod Touch.
