I got my tech armor glass 2 by corning in the mail yesterday. I really like it. However, it was a pain to get it lined up perfectly. The edges line up exactly with the edges of the screen. So it has to be precise when you lay it on.

Could you talk a little about the oleophobic coating or the lack thereof and any other thoughts/concerns? How does it compare to others that you have tried? Is the corning thing real or just a scam. Also, it would be fantastic if you could put up some pics!

Received a titanglass from GDSmith instead of the 3D glass that I ordered. Disappointed. What's the recourse?

Ok, so I just removed my Ice Max v. 2 and installed the Tech Armor Corning. I really like it. It's wide enough to cover the entire LCD and the thinner glass really makes a difference compared to the Ballistic Glass version. It's much less noticeable both in looks and feel. The oleophobic coating is good but not great. I think I'm going to keep it.

Also, here is the adhesive from the Ice Max I removed. The sensor openings seem to be in slightly different locations compared to the Orzly.

Thanks for posting pictures and your thoughts! I'm slightly disappointed with the edges of the glass. You can make out some of the adhesive and seems like there's some air at a few spots.

Well the pictures really magnify those blemishes. It is very hard to see what you mentioned unless you are actively looking for it. All the other screen protectors I've tried of this type had much more noticeable issues around the edges. There is no air trapped, that is just the angle/lighting.

Why on earth G.D. Smith didn't at least make the adhesive closer to the sensor on the right as they did on the left sensor boggles my mind.

Just more crap to get trapped underneath.

I would think it's so they can use the same production line for the 6 and 7 to lay down the adhesive

Can anyone compare the Belkin Ultra (Apple installed) and the Tech Armor Glass 2? Besides the coverage, is the quality the same? I have the Belkin and it is so smooth feeling. Cleans easily and after several weeks it is scratch free. The only downside is the narrow cut. I'm tempted to get the Tech Armor but not sure it's going to feel and look as good.

The armour looks like it has curved edges?

Had a Spigen one for my 7 Plus. Loved the shape and stuff. Cracked without even dropping the phone, I still don't know how it happened. Same thing for a friend of mine. Pretty frustrating
