These are so nice. I have HDR Pro but haven't gotten pics like this before.
I found that playing around with using areas that aren't the darkest and lightest seemed to work best. It still has some issues, even then, but its better. The halo effect you get around some things really irritates me, as its usually a sign of poor or overdone HDR. Granted, we are doing this on the iPhone so......
Whats the best way to upload to this forum?

How can anyone put the camera as a main reason to buy the iPhone 4? Sure it's a great improvement over the previous iPhone cameras and a lot of other smartphone cameras but if you need a smartphone with a good camera go with the Sony Ericsson X10. It's definately the best smartphone camera, and if you don't need a smartphone then the SE Satio is the best option out there.
Apple made a lot of improvements on the iPhone camera, but it doesn't matter how much other illuminating technilogy they put in there as long as it's such a tiny lens and a single LED flash, if they're gonna go with LED-only then they're gonna need at least two of them, but it's still not a viable replacement for a Xenon flash.
I put them in my Dropbox Public folder

Amazing that some people still don't get it and that it needs to be explained; the iPhone 4 camera may not be the best, or the most powerfullest, (I know, not a real word) or completely fully featured, but it's a pleasure to use. Period. Combined with all of the various apps available for it, it is a powerful creative tool... it inspires one to shoot more often.
There's a reason why, according to Flickr's data, more people have uploaded photos to Flickr with an iPhone than with any other camera (beating out the previous leaders, the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi and XTi, the Nikon D90, and the Canon 5D Mark II!)
In my own case, I have a nice Digital SLR (Canon) and taught digital photography last year at a College. I mostly shoot with film though and have been published (actual magazines, not just online) using everything from Polaroids to Medium Format; with a variety of cameras (from Pinholes to Holgas to Twin Lens Reflexes.) Never been into "Phone Photography" being a "real camera" snob, but since I've had the iPhone 4, I've probably (surprisingly) shot more photos with it in the past month than with all of my other cameras combined in the past year. It's just fun, simple, immediate, inspiring and obviously people are getting great results with it, in case you haven't noticed...
whats the best panoramic app?
