I looked at all the pages listed on that slide and so far only the Czech Republic is showing 25th April launch fingers crossed it stays that way, oh and it seems the person at apple who did that slide forgot how to sort alphabetically...

Good catch!:D

Last question! If an early morning launch, does the mall open early or are we stuck outside?

Thanks

For the iPhone 4 launch the Apple Store opened around 7 and I was already queueing inside the Bullring so I think it must have been open about 6 or 6:30. They had signs on the rear doors re-directing people to the main entrance for the iPhone launch.

Weather forecast is looking okay though... just coldish. :-s

Damn you Comet!

Actually could murder someone at Comet!

Here we are waiting for iPad 2 news and saw an email come in!! ....about their laptop offers this weekend.... not impressed!

Do you really think they are going to halt all their other business until the iPad launch is confirmed?

No but when you sign up for notifications there is an option to not receive any other info from them which I made sure I wasn't going to so you can imagine my frustration when the first ever email I get from Comet after stating I only wanted iPad 2 news turns out to be info they give you the option of declining...

Not that angry just got my hopes up a bit needlessly :(

Hmmm if the 5 pm launch is right I might go to the metro centre store and get in line :D

Must get hold of one soon, I'm sick of mis-hitting things on my iPhone :D

Looking like queueing then.

Wondering whether to go to KCRS/PC World/Argos/John Lewis in central Nottingham

or

Shops a bit further out in the suburbs such as PC World.

Just been into Western Computing in Leamington or whatever it is (Apple Reseller) they said they are getting 400 iPads for Friday but don't have details on launch time or price.

Thanks!

Apple stores here should get >1000 units. Theres around 29~30 stores? London stores will get the most but smaller stores will definitely get 1000+ to cater for launch day and weekend sales.

When I walked into the apple store on iPad 1 launch for a camera dongle they had PLENTY(500 or more at 1pm) ipads behind the counter and more in the storage room.

I'm pretty confident I'll get one and most people will. Just hate the queuing and if it's 5pm then I'll be hating it even more.

How am I supposed to get to an Apple Store in time if my shift ends at 5 and my nearest store it about 2 hours away?

Im only about 20 minute drive away from the Sheffield store, I just really hope its not launching at 5 pm though, I don't really fancy queueing from 8am!

This has probably been highlighted but I just tried to book a genius appointment for regent street on Friday, and was unable to!

Called PC world customer services and asked about pre-orders and the guy said i could pre order in store. So i've just been in to a retail park sized PC World in Blackpool. They're not stocking them at all. Only in the larger 'megastores' closest is Liverpool according to the guy.

So...time for a plan B.
