Contributor, Demi-God, and Demi-Goddess all mean the same thing - somebody who contributed. The benefits are the special title, an ad-free front page, access to a contributors-only forum, and the knowledge that you are supporting the site. Contributions are not currently being accepted but they are expected back, at which time an announcement will be made.

As arn quickly types away, franticly looking up and then adding rankings above 601, the MacRumors forum now holds rankings up to 7447A and 50,000 posts.....

Looking forward to that announcement, I would definitely consider contributing in the future...

Just remember, patience is a virtue. After I become a 601 I'm going to have a couple years of posting ahead of me to see the next rank I'm thinking... ;)

Depends. Either they re-instate contributions and you do it, OR you may need to start some hormone injections and later go through some rather drastic surgery requiring a fresh wardrobe and a name change to lacera, THEN pay the man. :p
 
Why not have the processor rank and the contributor status at the same time. So we know what the contributors rank is.
