You're welcome.Thank-you, I didn't think of insuring my MacBook Pro and the iPod Touch that came with it. (Student deal). I just added insurance coverage to my homeowner's policy against accidental damage and theft for all my electronic gear for my home and for my daughter at university up to $5000, for $20 a year. (Liberty Mutual).
After a friend had all his camera gear stolen from his hotel room in Costa Rica while he was having dinner downstairs, I came to realize that I needed coverage for my gear as well.
Sometimes, your personal items can be covered by your homeowner's policy even if you are away from home. However, they are not covered for accidentak damage and you must pay your homeowner's policy deductible, which for many people is $1,000 or more. That is why I think more people need to be aware that getting a Personal Articles Policy (in addition to or in place of AppleCare) is insurance coverage that you cannot afford to be without.
Cheers
