I got the refunded $10 and they let me keep my expedited shipping. I just told them I've read other peoples iphones have shipped and they didnt pay for expedited and my has yet to ship. She informed me regardless to if someone paid for expedited or not they will get the expedited shipping. So give it a try

Wohooo! Mine finally showed up with an origin scan in ZZ, China at 3:43 pm 9/23

Comparing notes: Mine says UPS saver, not worldwide express saver! However, I didn't get the 2-3 day shipping, I accidentally opted for standard shipping. Perhaps that plays a role.

Either way, I doubt this one's on its way out today. Maybe?

same, got the 16gb gold t-mobile at the same origin time, still no email from apple. This is an extremely late origin scan considering how early I ordered the phone.

I paid for the 2-3 day (but Apple waived the $10 fee), and I have the same UPS Saver.. Are you on the West Coast?
 
Welcome to macrumors, Zen! I hope you enjoy it here ^^ It's still one of my favorite sites, though the android hate is kinda sad as a mac guy that has had an android phone a long time :( Sometimes it really stings!

I can't wait to get my first iPhone!

Anyway, yeah... I ordered at 12:02AM and got the email at 12:03AM.

Edit: After looking at Eric's posts, the ups saver thing changes once they get more info. Okay.
 
32GB Gold ATT, shipped. Ordered 3:01AM. Shipment email days delivery by Thursday, September 26, though the UPS tracking says end of day Wednesday the 25.
 
oh, thanks for the welcome! This is my first iphone, and I decided I wanted one before I move out of the country next year. This site has been extremely informative so far, not that many trolls. lol
 
Just shipped out now. 32 GB Silver T-Mobile. What the hell.

I'll be calling Apple to ask them why I'm being treated as a second class citizen to those people that had their phones shipped yesterday :mad:
 
Mine departed ZhengZhou at 4:48 PM local. UPS My Choice email confirming delivery scheduled for tomorrow.

Got the shipped email yesterday. Expedited to East coast.
 
I'm really starting to get worried! My VZW 32gb gold is still "preparing for shipment" Anne my order confirmation was :02. It also went to this status about the same time as everyone else's who has already shipped. I also paid the extra $10 for expedited shipping. Bummed.

It wouldn't be a credit card issue at this stage, would it? I mean, if it is prepared for shipping, it should already have cleared payment, right? The reason I ask is because there have been times in the past where the automatic fraud detection had delayed a payment without even a notification....

If mine doesn't ship today, I probably won't even get it this week. :(
 
yeah gotta love getting pushed to the back of the line when you paid full price!

Apple vs UPS Delivery Date

Anyone else have Apple status showing 26th for delivery but UPS shows 24th when you track it? Is Apple just trying to be conservative? I did pay for 2-3 day shipping. I would think I should trust UPS over Apple.

Everyone's. They always pad a day or two to manage expectations.
 
Just woke up at 6 am EST, refreshed, still preparing for shipment. Refreshed 30 minutes later, SHIPPED =D.
No notification on my iphone through the app. and I received an email from apple 15 minutes ago. I just woke up, so I'm using this as my excuse, but where does it say delivery estimate on the apple email? Can't find it for the life of me...
No UPS delivery date either.
UPS 59 leaves hong kong to anchorage in 46 minutes. Doubt there are phones on that flight though.

UPS 81 from shanghai to anchorage flys out in 2 hours. Seems possible that our phones could be there.
 
lol I got two emails from apple, one telling me about the order, and another telling me that I am sending myself those items. Yay! that was odd.

UPS now updated my tracking :D It says they got my order at 7:07 AM 9/23 and it's going through the UPS Worldwide Express Saver. No ETA yet.

Also: Told ya so about that worldwide express saver thing xd
