Your post showed no sign of being a joke for the record. Just observing this convo.

Actually, it seemed obvious to me it was a joke.

ZhengZhou, China 09/23/2013 6:00 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/23/2013 5:30 P.M. Departure Scan
09/23/2013 5:14 A.M. Origin Scan
China 09/23/2013 5:02 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

So, what? They scanned it for departure, took the pallet out the plane, oops, no room, took it back, scanned it for arrival at the same place?

Got my shipping email.. I paid the extra $10, yet I'm receiving the phones on Thursday (to SoCal). Shipped via. UPS Worldwide Express Saver.

Actually called Apple and had them refund the $10 shipping charge as it's obvious to me that if you paid/didn't pay the $10 fee, there was no difference in shipping speed.

Everyone has this. The 30 min is the time from the origin (factory) to the depot (ZhengZhou). The origin is when the label was printed.

Holy cow dude. Take your own advice. I'm perfectly chill. I posted a joke. Where in my post did I even come close to being like those guys who said they aregoing to call customer service and raise hell or anything like that?

Holy cow, dude! I too, was posting a joke. Again, you're really making a big deal out of little things. :)

Does anyone else show 28 pages for this thread but clicking 28 brings you back to 27?

Edit: Now I'm on 28...weird.

Ordered 12:03am, paid the $10 for faster shipping.

May not have been for nothing. Some people didn't make that first plane. Perhaps paying the $10 put you on the plane ahead of some people who didn't.

I don't think so. I paid extra and ordered a Gold 32gb AT&T. My delivery is the 25th even though I got my confirmation at 3:02am. I think colors and sizes make a difference as some people are getting theirs on the 24th.

Scheduled for Wednesday delivery.

Ordered via Apple store. 16gb, Sprint space gray at 2AM CST.

I didn't pay the extra $10 for expedited by the way.

Good luck all and us 1-3 days group will get ours this week hopefully!

?

Mine still says "Preparing for Shipment Available to ship: 1 - 3 business days
Delivers: Sep 30 - Oct 2 by Standard Shipping"

16gig space gray AT&T...

My phone must be sitting in the same crate as yours since my details are almost the same:

ZhengZhou, China 09/23/2013 7:30 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/23/2013 7:10 P.M. Departure Scan
09/23/2013 12:42 P.M. Origin Scan

Ordered 1 16GB, Gold, Verizon. Hopefully we will get some updates soon! Hoping to get it delivered before Thursday if by some miracle it happens.

Same crate most likely. My tracking is the same. 7:30 arrival scan. 16gb Gold Sprint. Only difference is origin scan is 2:25. My phone is coming to new york. It's 12am in china right now, so I dont think we'll have any update until later tonight.

Anyone who's packagemapping.com information says their phone is headed to Louisville know what flight (via flightaware.com) it is using? I can't seem to find a good candidate for that.

16GB, Gold ATT. Looks like mine took an earlier flight. To be delivered by Wednesday afternoon.

so from reading these threads it seems they are shipping them on a first come first serve basis? I don't see too many people receiving shipping notices who ordered after 3am EST. I ordered ~ 515am EST and mine still shows preparing for shipment with an expected delivery date of friday 27SEP - 01OCT (no tracking number).

Hey I was scanned in at 7:08 so I may be with y'all too!

It's not direct... there is a refueling stop on all incoming UPS flights in Anchorage. Louisville is the final destination, but planes can't travel that far without refueling.

According to packagemapping.com my shipment is flying direct from Incheon, Korea to Louisville, KY!!

This can't physically happen. Anchorage is a refueling stop. They may not scan in/out or unload but they must refuel.

That website is stupid and just guessing because all packages go to Louisville first. They are on UPS flight 99.

Gotcha. Then it's likely the UPS99 flight I've already been watching.

I've never actually looked for or watched flights of my packages before. This is like a whole 'nother level of stalking I'm learning about!
