update for those who's phone hasn't updated since the import scan in louisville.
Just called ups, and the phone is in louisville. No teleportation for us. It will be available the next business day (tomorrow) for delivery or pick up.

nooooooooi

I was due to be delivered Thursday but just got the notice that they moved me up to today! Southern Cali here. Being that there were no pre-orders and getting the iPhone just 5 days later all the way from China is pretty dam* good I would say.

I ordered a 32 GB grey at 2:20 AM PDT so I was a couple hours behind. My status just updated to shipped with delivery on Mon. Darn, that 2+ hrs of sleep is costing my 3-4 days of delivery time

For those of us who have phones in Korea, UPS99 just closed up and started underway in Incheon at 22:34 local time, or about 40 minutes late.

Should show up on flight aware before too long once it finishes taxiing and takes off.

Got my 32GB Gold 5S this morning right when UPS opened. I had directed them to hold at the delivery center. My phone arrived at 6:15 at the center, I made my way over there right when they opened at 8:30, told the lady my address and was handed my phone within 3 minutes. WAY better than hoping I get home in time to catch the driver and dealing with that stuff. By far the easiest iPhone delivery I've done. My 5S looks perfect, which is nice, since my launch 5 last year had some very minor scuffs out of the box. (no scuffs on it now, though since I got a replacement 5 two weeks ago for dust under the camera).

Touch ID works beautifully...really, really nice. I set up as a new phone at first to get Pages, Numbers and Keynote added to my account, then restored my 5 backup...it's syncing apps right now. Love it!

I must say they kept these phones on the move...

Coming today :D

No idea what happened to mine. They had some problems with the label I guess and now it doesn't have an estimated shipping time.

Any ideas?

In NYC here, mine is out for delivery :) Amazing, South Korea to New York in 1 day, using 3 planes. Really makes you appreciate how amazing mail is.

You'll have it tomorrow.

If it's in Louisville by 9PM est, and it has an air label (international/express) you're 99% next day.

I just think its weird because it says "in transit" usually that means on a truck. I live in Seattle. I don't know that they would drive a truck from Louisville to Seattle right? Lol

You're phone will be delivered tmrw most likely. They had some problems in Louisville. Mine still shows up as delivery for today, but my phone is in Louisville with the latest being an import scan.

Oof. That really sucks. Sorry to see that. I wonder if the label didn't print clearly or got mangled somehow in the sorting process. Probably the former. The factory had to crate all of these, so Louisville is probably the first time each individual label is read.

Well, they went from foxconn to a UPS depot in China in the same city, where they didn't move again for 18 hours.

Is that the place where all those Chinese workers jumped off a roof because they were working 100 hours a week??

Hmm ok. Thanks. I can only hope!

Good point.

When I ordered, the expected delivery was the 30th at the earliest. Then when it shipped, it was to arrive tomorrow the 26th. Now it's on a truck a day early.

Not bad, Apple! :):apple::)

So planes fly into Kentucky, get unloaded, and their cargo gets mixed with other planes' cargoes and loaded onto larger planes that fly out of Kentucky.
And while they're combining the cargo there might not be room for a pallet here or there so that pallet has to wait for the next flight out.
I'm guessing that must be how a particular phone misses it's connection?
