10.8 Snow Lion?

Hmm, maybe 10.8 Elephant? I was trying to change the screensaver, and found that, apart from a lion, the only other animal picture is an elephant. Speaking of which, how do you change the wallpaper for ALL the screens/spaces at once seems like you have to do it individually? Also, 10.8 Ocelot seems kinda cool, but mountain lion sounds cool as well

In 2001 Steve Jobs said OS X will be the os for the next ten years. The next os may be 11.0, not 10.8. OSXi

Snow Leopard was 10.6.5 thats why it wasn't a new cat it was a Snow Leopard instead of a Leopard because it was a part of the Leopard release.

Next one will be a completely different cat.

Based on Apple's release schedule for Mac OSX....it should be in about 2-4 years before 10.8 comes out.

Call me pedantic but I just have to correct you on this.... Leopard was 10.5 and Snow Leopard was 10.6, not an increment to the Leopard version number.

Huh?? You need to get your facts straight.

Leopard was Mac OS X 10.5. Snow Leopard was Mac OS X 10.6.

Snow Leopard was not part of the Leopard release.

Leopard is 10.5.x

Snow Leopard is 10.6.x

Lion is 10.7.x

Elephant? Someone tried to use an Elephant to do with an Operating System before. Wasn't a success, shame because the OS actually was bloody good compared to what did succeed in the PC marketplace. That OS was OS/2
