I'm $1,490 in with my 64gig black AT&T 3g model. I find it hard to wait on stuff and just said ****, I'm going to by what I want without waiting for months for an iPad 64gig 3G AT&T to actually ship.

So, here is my purchase experience as of 4 days ago...:

$1000 iPad
$40 grey smart cover
$400 unlimited SIM on eBay
$50 full invisible shield

Everything works great and I love it. No regrets at all. If you have the coin, I'd highly recommend just doing it and not looking back...

Discuss.

You only paid about $100 more than retail, after tax. That doesn't make you a big spender to me... So, in that case, cool story bro.

Any problems with the SIM unlimited data plan transfer?

Not at all. Transferred the account into my name/CC on the spot when I met the local seller. Made sure he showed me the account was unlimited and active before I transferred it into my name/CC. Easy and as long as I never let it lapse, it will be good to go forever.

My career will not be discussed, but let's say if you make the right choices in life and work hard it it, you will live a comfortable life. ;)

May I ask what is the protection on the back of your iPad? The one you're using seems to be of high quality, and I am interested in procuring one for mine also before it looks like the back of my old iPhone.

I never realized you could sell a SIM like that. Isn't that tied to the original owner?

I'm confused!

I do have unlimited myself and am not parting with it.
eBay "iPad SIM"

Hold onto it with a death grip and never let your monthly payment of $29.99 lapse. Once it lapses, it's gone.

They are worth gold, man...and going up every month since they are like the dodo...

I do not think the extra $171 you paid was out of line. I could have seen myself doing that in a similar situation.

You're not adding taxes, which would have added about $65, so he paid a bit more than $100 extra. His thread title leads you to believe that he paid almost double for it. Personally, I think he got a great price for the iPad, but got ripped off on the sim. Also, who really cares?

Wow, you're my hero. Why did you post this crap that nobody gives a ***** about. Do you just like reminding yourself how much money you have?
