My biggest concern was less battery life compared to the 11 PM and that does not appear to be the case. I'm reading glowing reviews about battery life. Thankfully.

I think some might find the phone larger this go'round because the flat edges make the size more noticeable versus the curved edges of previous Plus/Max devices. It's a legit point however in usage I really see it as a non-issue as I think the thinner profile this year will help a lot in terms of comfort while using with two hands. I also think the flat edges will make this iPhone more easy to use in terms of removing from your pocket, off a table, etc.

Bottom line, I'm only more excited for my Friday pre-order pickup now reading these reviews. :D

I’m angry there’s “hardly a difference” in the cameras. I would have gone with the 12 Pro. Now it’s sold out everywhere and I have 14 days to return the Max and not likely able to exchange for the Pro.

What's with all the gold iPhone 12 pro max review videos, every single video I've seen so far seems to be the gold iPhone 12 pro max, and a few graphite videos.

Where's the pacific blue and silver videos.
All that Apple are sending it seems

Still a difference is a difference and pro max is giving you two more hours of usage

Has anyone seen any reviews with hard numbers on battery life tests? Just interested in how it compares to the 11 Pro Max.

For me its battery life cause the 12 pro is already a two handed phone so I might as well pay$100 more for a bigger screen and battery life. I’m willing to bet the iPhone 12’s cameras are enough for me but 64 gb isn’t. So that being $100 away from the 12 pro is worth it and so is the jump to the Max.

MKBHD says the camera upgrades aren’t really noticeable & hence it’s not worth the cost over the other iPhone 12s...

Dave2d backs up MKBHD’s view on the Max camera not delivering a noticeable difference over 12 Pro. It kind of confirms what I was thinking pre-release, that the 6.1” models are the best all-rounder for most people, with the 12 Pro slightly ahead imo, due to the improved camera zoom range & Dual OIS...

Btw, sick of the gold already. The fingerprints on the sides dominate & the back, while having the best matt texture, is that typical old fashioned cream colour that was popular in houses back in the 70s...

The 12 max is a big phone. I will keep mine but I can see a lot of returns.
The size difference between the 12 Max and the previous Max’s is minimal. Extra screen size is largely due to bezel reduction and a small increase in size.

I'm just happy the battery life lives up after the less than expected results reviewers were saying about the 12 pro.

True, but the straight edges will make it feel and seem much bigger. A lot of people may have issues with it. I can't wait for mine!
