I’m totally happy
Had the plus/max phones since 2014 so I’m very used to the form factor, I actually like the weighty feel of the steel phones and I love the new design, camera is amazing at times and also the HDR video is incredible

Previously had 11PM (and very happy) .... tried 12Pro which I returned .... now have 12PM which I am very happy with and no regrets upgrading. Using it in and out of silicone case depending on what I’m doing.

I’ve had every Max Apple has made. This one is a bit big and heavy, any bigger or heavier than this and I wouldn’t be interested. If the Pro had the same camera setup, I’d probably have gotten the Pro.

Love my 512gb 12 Pro Max and will be keeping it a long time. It replaces my iPhone 6s Plus that I got in 2015, I also loved that one. Seems like a lot has been made about the size being SO huge. I looked at the specs and the size was just about the same as my 6s Plus. When it arrived, I put my 6s Plus on top of the Pro Max and it matches almost exactly, the only difference is the Pro Max is about 1/16 inch taller. The square corners make it look bigger than it really is.

Honestly, I would have liked it to be even bigger. :)

I’ve decided to stick with the pro max over the pro. Main reason is the screen and display are so superior. Also the phone itself feels thinner (have pitaka cases) and so it feels like this picked iPad. But it’s manageable. Can read easily, edit photos, read in bed. Just a joy!

Very satisfied on all aspects. improvements on display, camera and sound. Only weakness point: the camera, although generally better than on the 12 Pro, shows deficit in details when cropping if compared to non Apple cameras, and some flare issues in lowlight/backlight . I hope next year they may improve the 12 Mpixel hardware.

The size was a bit of an adjustment coming from the 11 Pro, but after using it for a couple of weeks I love it! Really appreciate the large display and great battery life

I love it but Face ID is far inferior in execution compared to Touch ID IMO. I might upgrade to the 13 PM if Touch ID is truly coming to the screen.

I want a folding iPhone. Rumored now for a 2022 release. Using the 12 PM just hammers this point home for me. I'm really tired of this candy bar form factor and find the 12 PM a bit awkward with respect to its height to width screen ratio. Just feels like a really tall and too narrow screen at this point.

One reason I waited so long to upgrade was the hope that the 12 series would have touch ID, but after 5 years I gave up and got the 12 Pro Max. As a practical matter, face ID works really well for me, there have only been a couple glitches during my first week. And I'll admit that Apple has made good use of the space where the physical home button was on my 6s Plus.

If Apple can develop a reliable under-the-screen touch ID, that would be great but I'm not planning to upgrade anytime soon. I suppose a folding phone (done right) might make me reconsider however. 😂

I'm surprised that it really does feel bigger and heavier than the 11PM. Truly different.

Definitely keeping. Great device.
