I think it should since it's the norm of most phones now a days.

Iphone Screen

No, I dont think so. Sight this nexus or some other crap android phone my friend has from sprint. It doesnt even fit in his pocket. There is an IPAD for a reason. A big iphone in sense.

I picked smaller, but that's not my real answer. Nor is it probably the real answer from any of the anti-screen-enlargement crowd. My real answer is:

:apple: I want a smaller iPhone with the exact same size screen.

The side bezels are already pretty small. They don't need to be shrunk much. But the top and bottom sections feel like they have a lot more space than they really need. I know a smaller home button wouldn't be that hard to click. So I guess really I just want a shorter and very slightly slimmer iPhone.

I could also see this being a very tempting choice:

:apple: I want a bigger screen but other dimension the same or smaller.

I'm not sure how I feel about a bigger screen. Perhaps with the same unibody enclosure. I wouldn't want bigger than that. I see some people walking around with smartphones that stick out of their pocket because of their over sized phone. Looks dumb, impractical and uncomfortable. Perhaps they see it as bling.

I'm happy with the current size, the problem with reducing the bezel is there's then nowhere for after market protective cases to hug the phone, I feel much safe with my £700+ handset having a healthy sized case around it.

Do you work in Apple's product management department? If not, what's the purpose of this poll? We can all talk about how we'd like a larger screen or a phone which can do our laundry all day long, but what does that accomplish exactly?

It's just a poll. You don't have to vote.

What about something like this?

Apple offers laptops with different size screens. Why can't Apple release different screen sizes for the iPhone lineup (and yes there is a lineup: 3GS, 4, 4S)? I don't buy the idea that there is a perfect size for a smart phone. People are too variable in size themselves, and not everyone has the same needs or interests. Just going to something like an iPhone standard size and an iPhone HD (or whatever) makes a lot of sense to me.

Fit the screen to the edges and make the screen itself clickable, similar to how the click works on the new trackpads.

There's something about the compact size of the iphone 4/4S. To me it's more business like and now compared to android, its less flashy. I feel like its a more low key phone now. In past years I couldn't have said that.

But I would like to have that rumored iPhone 5 that was floating around. That mini iPad look was badazz. Anything over 4" even is rediculous.

Can't believe people are considering buying the nexus prime at 4.65 inches. SMH. It will be the Ford Excursion of phones...Seriously.

But check this though, if Apple were to keep the same dimensions of the phone now and just add like a 3.7" I would be cool.
