Upgrading to 16gb/512gb - same as a base model 14” MBP - brings the price to $1700.
For an extra $300, the 14” has a bigger and far better display with smaller bezels, ports galore, better speakers, and my favorite feature of all - no Touch Bar.
I don’t know how the M2 compares to the M1 Pro. But if I really needed the M2, I’d be inclined to wait until the M2 MBA is available.
I’m sure there are some folks that the 13” M2 MBP is right for. I just don’t think there are very many.
