Same here. Our computers must have been on the same pallet.
We have a bank holiday in Scotland on Monday so I'm hoping for delivery tomorrow if possible. Will they attempt delivery on a Saturday?

Not usually. Weekend delivery is something you pay extra for. My dad was lucky with his MacBook Pro earlier this year - it arrived in the TNT depot on the friday but was not out for delivery 'til monday, he was able to pick it up from the depot on Friday evening. Could be an option.

Yep you can actually see everyones order number from our pallet lot on the site if you click on Reference ;) There's a lot of order numbers on there :)

My delivery date still says 5th August, but keeping my fingers crossed they can knock a couple of days off that.

Well to add to the anticipation, I've just received an email from Apple saying that they have now charged my credit card for the balance of my order, that being the MBA 11" CTO.

So things are still moving forward ahead of the weekend :)

The card arrived today along with the printer, but in a separate jiffy bag, with its own shipping label. Both via UPS, shipped from the Leicester distro centre.

Just need the shiny bit of metal and silicon to go with it now...

Mine's a 11" i5. It turned into a CTO, because I made the bad mistake of ordering a USB to Ethernet adapter at the same time  No one told me this would be the case though! and I only found out about the delay a couple of days after ordering. Apparently, because they put the cable in the MBA box, it makes it a CTO.

If I had ordered it without the adapter, it would have been a stock item in the UK. In fact I have ordered another since to ensure I get it ahead of the weekend as I am away for the next week, and need a portable computer. That second one turned up today, 36 hrs after ordering. Haven't opened it yet though, as I still want the other one, that is linked to my £65 card, and £70 printer rebate.

I know if the worse comes to the worse, I can take advantage of the Apple 14 day return period, but I don't really want the hassle of setting a new machine up twice, even if the second one will be quicker in migrating across.

Mine has the exact same tracking info

And mine is a 13" 1.8 MBA. I ordered Applecare with mine, which is why I think it's a 'Merge in Transit', currently stating delivery 1st August. My laptop was on the same palette on that Virgin flight.

I ordered mine on release day, and was slightly annoyed to discover that the local Apple store had the upgraded MBA in-stock, despite the website suggesting it was online only.

I've been obsessively waiting for it since ordering as my ageing MBP is on its last legs.... Was hoping it might be sent tonight for delivery tomorrow, but looking less likely now I guess.

Yup 13" i7 here. Foolishly ordered a SuperDrive with it.

So will the couriers pick it up from the Apple distribution centre tomorrow and deliver it directly? Or will the courier take it back to their own local depot for another overnight stay and delivery the next business day?

From past experience, it will be an overnight job which means if it hasn't been passed on to TNT/UPS etc. by now, it will probably get here next week sometime (mon/tues).

Would be glad to be proved incorrect however!

Mine is not an i7, but I'm slightly confused by the Apple Order Status page.

Not yet shipped
Estimated Shipping: within 24 hours
Estimated Delivery: 28 Jul, 2011 - 29 Jul, 2011

Now, delivery is due tomorrow, but it's not yet shipped? 8pm here, I'm not hopeful, but either way I need to know as I have to make plans to be at home. These order tracking things are so annoying for people who aren't at one location all the time :(

I got my i5 today and was sent a despatched e-mail yesterday at 10:20. So you still have time yet.

So now my 'Carrier Tracking Number' has been updated to the same as the 'Our Delivery Reference Number'. Also my 'Assigned Carrier' has been set to 'UK DISTRIBUTION CENTER'

I really hope the couriers get their hands on it overnight for delivery tomorrow

Same here, tracking page just updated with the same info.

Mine has now got a UPS tracking number and the shipment date has jumped forward from the 2nd August to tomorrow!

Hurrah I also have a UPS tracking number now but the Apple page still states delivery estimate as 2nd August meanwhile the UPS page shows it at Tamworth and moving...

Oooh that's sounding promising.

Mine has updated to "Uk distribution centre" but still no UPS number.

Edit: Mine now has a UPS number, and is at Tamworth. Hurrah!
