13" MBA i7 delivery dates in UK?

I have the same, more than likely most of this shipment is the same.

First thing I noticed was how good the screen was. I think I spent too much time reading into the Samsung vs LG debate.
 
Looks like later orders are taking a more direct route. Mine is showing up as

Well, my faith in Apple is somewhat restored. My MBA landed at LHR on the 30th, was handed over to Apple on the morning of the 1st after clearing customs - and has made it to Tamworth and back out to London. It's due for delivery tomorrow!

Quickest shipping from China I've yet seen. 3 business days in total, weekend obviously got in the way.

China never sleeps.
 
How if at all are you guys tracking your orders? Can you see it's progress still, for example, going from country to country on its way into the UK?

I ordered a MBP in March to the UK and you could do this, I think, on the UPS website. Now I am only getting Apple's own tracking service on the which only says 'In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly.'

I seem to remember having a carrier tracking number from the outset last time so you can track the delivery from its origin.

Current delivery est is the 10th of August...:eek:

Yeah, as soon as it is dispatched, and you get a UPS tracking number (usually a few hours after dispatched, not immediately), you can follow its progress via UPS. You will then find yourself logging in to UPS every 30 mins until it arrives, despite knowing full well it won't arrive for a couple of days, and that checking its status has no bearing on how quickly it will arrive :)

Look for the expo.expiditors.com link earlier in the thread.

Cheers for that. Apple website says est delivery date is the 10th - this says the requested delivery date is the 6th - whilst it also says it should arrive in LHR tomorrow morning!

Could be getting this one early (I know just about everyone has said this in this thread lol) :cool:

If it's arriving at LHR tomorrow, expect it to be with you a day or two afterwards. Mine was handed over to Apple on the 1st, delivered on the 2nd.
 
I've got dates of the 16th on my order, and when I track it says 8th, no idea when it will come. My actual MBA has no track button :S

EDIT - Scratch that, just looked, says its gonna arrive tomorrow via UPS! Tracked the shipment and it has 3 parcels so the MBA is definitely there! :D

Ah cool - yeah it was estmated to arrive at LHR at 11am tomorrow morning but it actually got there this evening. Fingers crossed it could arrive in the next couple of days!
 
Now my carrier has changed to Expeditors..... and it arrived at LHR 2am yesterday, apparently it should come today but I have no idea now.... :S

The arrival time quoted on Expox is the time it will be handed over to the distribution centre in Tamworth.

It will sit in customs until that time. :/ Flight VS251 is scheduled to land at around 17:20, in this case, sadly, the wording they use seems to be a bit deceptive. Mine cleared customs at 10:59 on Friday after landing at 16:55 the previous afternoon. My shipment went all the way up to Tamworth on the friday and got shipped via UPS at midnight on the Monday, presumably the weekend got in the way. Finally arrived yesterday.
 
Mine was cleared from customs on the 2nd. On the EXP.o it looks like its out for delivery to Apple today so a few more days wait.
 
Those who have received it from China, is it Samsung/Samsung or does anyone have LG/Toshiba?
 
Mine was received by UPS yesterday and is out for delivery today. No idea why Apple never gave me the tracking to follow it from Shanghai until after they gave me the UPS tracking, and that they can only give you one at a time, but seems mines arriving today :D
