13" MBA i7 delivery dates in UK?

Mines been allocated a UPS tracking, and apples store status is saying delivery on the 29th July!!! UPS tacking shows departure at Tamworth, meaning it's winging it's way to Shannon airport as I type, whether it arrives today however I am skeptical but hopeful....
 
Bugger. Apple store is down this morning so I can't check whether mine has changed. Do I take the day off just in case I wonder.

Edit: I rang them up and got my UPS number. It's on the van and out for delivery. Brill.

Mine just arrived here on the south coast after leaving tamworth at 3am.

Excellent stuff from ups. Very happy!

Delivery date slipped to the 6th August now, from the 2nd. Really not happy with the service this time.

Well mine shifted from August 5th to the 6th and now is saying 29th July (too good to be true and I'm not holding my breath). Those estimated delivery dates are that... Estimates ;)

You could be lucky.

Unlikely, as according to the magical tracking page that people found, my MBA is currently just leaving China on a Virgin plane to London. Won't arrive until tomorrow, add in the customs delay/weekend, then up to Tamworth and back to London...

I'm not expecting it any earlier than the middle of next week.
 
How annoying. The UPS website originally said my shipment was out on the van for delivery today. About an hour ago, it now says my shipment is in two packages and that the first package is on the vehicle for delivery (superdrive judging by the weight) and the second heavier package is in transit :eek:

However, when I click through to the page for the second package, the status says on the delivery van but the scheduled delivery date is by end of play 1st August :confused:

From elation to deflation in an hour :(

Mine said the same. In fact Apple gave me one tracking code over the phone this morning but displays another on their website. One says "Out for delivery - Delivered by Monday" the other says "Scanned at destination".

I rang UPS to check what was going on there the nice lady from the Swansea branch rang me back within 10 minutes to tell me the driver had checked and both packages were definitely in my name and on the delivery van - they even told me that they should be here about 4pm - great customer service.

To cut a long story short, it's worth ringing UPS to double check.

I daren't do that with mine as whilst I'm skeptical it will arrive today - i'm not hopeful and confirmation from UPS that it won't will be disappointing as it destroys the little bit of hope I have :) :D

I also phoned UPS as my tracking had gone from on van this morning to delivery by end of 2nd August :confused:
UPS lady says its on van and I should get it this afternoon and disregard what it says on tracker page.
 
Bugger!! Just rang UPS and they tell me my Parcel is on it's way to Dublin! The other side of the country from me entirely. Looks like its going to the wrong depot.... Guess it will be next tuesday or wednesday now at best. So much for 29th July Apple :(:( disappointed - but not entirely surprised.

Printer and B2S card have shipped apparently, but have no tracking number, MBA hasn't yet. Printer an B2S say 8th august arrival, but overall order still says 16th. No idea when its gonna come now:rolleyes:

One of the first things I did was to hardware calibrate my screen and tried to use my trusty Datacolor Spyder 2 Pro but its software is PowerPC only and requires Rosetta to run which is not included in Mac OS X 10.7. However the hardware was supported in ColorEyes Display Pro and it has resulted in a terrific screen calibration result. Very happy.
