512gb base storage

They bumped base RAM up to 16 gigs too

It impressed at all, same display brightness and nothing new just slightly bigger, and the GPU 5500m is not even nvidia 1660 level so not great

I can’t believe we still have to deal with the Touchbar! I don’t want to! Glad the keyboard is back to the scissor mechanism and there is an actual escape key though!

I’ll wait For the 13 inch MacBook Pro to update my current 2013 MacBook

Maybe there is a hack that forces it to just stay F-keys and brightness/play/pause/volume/etc. That would make it less annoying.

My build:

2.3 GHz CPU
2 tb ssd
64 GB ram 😍
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
AppleCare

For ‘just’ $4478

I could compromise by dropping AppleCare and upgraded video and storage but the price would $3599. Not sure if I should compromise.

I cannot wait for reviewers showing us data about this device also being in the infamous thermal corner; I mean, having high temperatures and thermal throttling issues.

Yeah, I know that some of you like your Apple devices being hot, but that is not any good. High temperature is against longevity and performance.

I've thermal issues in all my Apple computers and it is a shame. I wish Apple would do better in this regard.

Apple says that this computer has more cooling capacity. I really wish that is true in a big way.

Also, I hope the keyboard is finally not broken.

Edit: Inverted T arrow keys! OMG!, is Apple listening?

Interestingly the note about memory for the 16" says 'not user accessible' but for the existing 13" says 'built into the computer'. I wonder if this is just weird nomenclature or its socketed RAM again?
