So to recap, what we have so far:
Aside from the keyboard and larger screen, it looks like a minor upgrade overall. Unless Apple surprises us with more ports, XDR, or Face ID.
- 16" screen, most likely 16.4" 3072 by 1920 with identical pixel density as 15" (which is 2880 by 1800 15.4")
- Thinner bezel but larger footprint than 15" MacBook Pro
- Escape key, possibly no more Touch Bar
- New scissor key mechanism (not butteryfly)
- Most likely the same 9th generation Intel Coffee Lake processor as current 15" MacBook Pro (so no Wi-Fi 6 as Wi-Fi 6 is a 10th gen feature)
- 96W charging (up from 87W)
I think that they will keep the touch bar and the touch-ID on the laptop otherwise I think that your points are valid.

most likely. You think they'll replace the 15 inch with this one and make a new 14 inch to replace the 13 inch?
