Actually, I agree (in theory) with the touchbar on an external keyboard. I use an external keyboard because the regular keyboard is such utter crap and because of that it's just not worth reaching for the touchbar because it's so far away now.

Since they removed a leaked icon of 16 inch MBP, it's unlikely that they gonna release it in this year.

Just scares me a little when I see exactly the same keycaps..

(no real logic there other than I could have seen a slightly tweaked keycap while doing a new switch also)

That's what I'm thinking. Seems like the perfect time to have a Pro-focused event. (And despite the moniker, there's nothing "Pro" about the new AirPods.) It'd be nice to include a spec-bumped Mini too. I'm in the market for one of those but unless something forces my hand, I rarely buy new Macs that have been on the market for more than a couple months. If I'm dropping that much cash on a computer, I want it to be hot off the press, so to speak—especially since Apple's release cycles tend to be a bit behind in terms of CPU anyway.

We'll see. I'm wanting (but not particularly desperate) to upgrade. As far as convenience and use, my 2016 is fine. I hate this keyboard though and don't want to upgrade until I have another option in that regard. (And, I want to try a larger machine on the next upgrade, so this works well for me.) Worst case, I have another 4-6 months to wait. Although if tidbits are showing up in the OS, this has to be on its way pretty darn soon.

It can' be Friday because that's the official release day for ATV+. Only day left for this week is tomorrow.
 
Noooooooooooo. You were the chosen one. You were supposed to end this touch bar era nonsense, not join it.
 
I keep checking every couple hours(maybe minutes). I'm using a stupid HP Elitebook because I gave my hubby my 15" MBP I bought like 6 months ago because he needed a laptop and also so I could buy this one.

I should've made him wait and kept it until this was released.. lol.
