iPhone 16 Pro Max 16 Pro Max is borderline too heavy

The more I keep using both the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max (both caseless), the more I dislike the feel of the 16 Pro. Like it’s smaller but still not at all comfortable. The weight distribution is really different than the 16 Pro Max.
For me, the 16 Pro doesn’t provide enough comfort improvement to sacrifice the significant battery life improvement of the 16 Pro Max.
Anyway, I’m still kinda torn. Will keep using both a bit longer.

Fully agree with you. How much more battery do you get on the PM? I have the PM but have used both extensively and am leaning back towards the Pro. While the weight is better distributed on the PM, the screen size is almost too big. I can't focus on the whole thing and it's too tall. What is keeping you from just going with the PM?
A screen “too big” is something that just doesn’t exists 😅
Significantly more battery life on the 16 PM. Love not having to think about battery. I’m pretty much sold on the 16 PM. Only hesitation originally is that I love small phones. The 12 mini and 13 mini are my favorite iPhones ever. However the regular 16 Pro is not a small phone so it’s a matter of picking between a large phone and an even larger phone. So I’d rather have the best battery life.
All good points. How much more battery do you get on the PM vs the P? Yeah the P is much more comfortable to hold but I totally agree on the weight distribution.
My battery life on my 16 PM is insanely good over my previous 12 PM. With my daily moderate usage (internet browsing, social media, listening to music, a couple videos/Tik Tok watching), I have yet to end a day below 50%. Whereas my 12 PM would be near 20-30% by the end of a day (usually I’d have to charge at some point during the day). With my 16 PM, I can leave the house with 70-80% battery and have no concerns that my phone will die before returning home. Game changer.
oh I think it is, on the plane, movies, wherever, people are always peeping at what's on your screen..
I don’t know which places are you visiting, but if that’s the case, it would happen even with a 5” display.
Also an upside of the bigger size of the 16 PM, it seems to help it stay cooler longer. I notice on the regular 16 Pro it gets warm way faster with the same use while on the 16 PM it’s much cooler to the touch.
If y’all think the iPhone 16 Pro Max is too heavy. Perhaps you should start lifting weights. I’m sure the beer you hold is heavier than the iPhone, no complaints there.

Weight at this point isn't that much of a difference. With my 14PM With a case we're talking about more than 10 grams between the PM and the P. What is an issue is fitting it in a pocket and having easy access to it.
If you are speaking about dimensions it is a different matter. I don’t have problems, but I could understand people complaining.
I’m using my M1 iPad Pro 11” most of the time and carry it around often instead of my iPhone so yeah, a screen is never “too big”.
