I have two now. One I ordered way back in January and it arrived about 3-4 weeks ago. This one I ordered last week. A good friend of mine is taking this one off my hands.
I ordered another 17" PB last Wednesday through ADC. It shipped yesterday. I'm not trying to piss off people who have been waiting since January, but ADC really seems to expedite the process.

I just got a call from my reseller saying my powerbook will be delivered to Apple Australia tomorrow, and then delivered to my reseller by Monday! (unless Apple Australia are very efficient and courier it there tomorrow!)
How amazing!!! The waiting is almost over!
Thanks to all you guys who have posted reviews and pics.

You can always make copies of media that you "created" - not necessarily own. The law doesn't give you the right to purchase "The Matrix" on DVD and then burn it because you own it. That is called copyright infringement. You can, of course, back up whatever data that you own.

Actually, I believe it does. As long as you own it, you can make whatever copies you want, so long as you don't give those copies to anyone else outside of your household, or sell it to anyone, or use your copy to be viewed outside of your home for viewing by a mass audience. When you purchase a DVD or video, you are purchasing a home viewing license. If you want to make a copy and view that copy instead of your original, that is not copyright infringement, as I understand it. I could be wrong. I'm not a copyright attorney, but I play one on tv.
