Well let's see....when I bought my "lifetime" EnPass license two years ago it was $39.99 - which is less than a "single version" one time license for 1Password, and almost the same cost as a 1Password subscription for a year. Granted, the EnPass cost has risen now, but for me - I've already gotten my money's worth out of it compared to what I was paying for 1Password every year.
That’s fine and you’re missing the point, you really think it’s lifetime? Nope.

I bit the bullet and bought into 1Password families subscription and took advantage of a 50% off 1 year subscription promotion. Would I have preferred them to offer OneDrive vault sync, yes, but given the app costs about 2 years of subscription (or more?), sharing my 1Password families subscription with my parents and my wife, it's relatively affordable and at least I won't need to buy new apps in the future...

I did consider Bitwarden, Lastpass, etc... but the paid ones didn't work out to be much cheaper if at all, and the free ones all had some key feature (eg OTP) missing, and I was also a bit lazy to migrate.

Curious why you didn't go with Bitwarden (which I am considering). Their $10 a year plan has TOTP.
