I hope we can get some kind of Ziphone style way to upgrade so that we don't have to do a full restore when the jailbreak is released.
 
grabbing it now, itunes download seems snappier! okay it's hack now, enough about the snappier.
 
Downloading now, Safari does seem snappier.. even while downloading!! :D

Bah! I am on vacation right now and won't be able to update till friday...but in the meantime, i guess it gives me time to see what the update fixes and what problems others may run into (let's hope none).

Anyways, glad to see NetShare still working, as i am one of the lucky ones who was able to snag it before it disappeared..but what i am most curious about is if the update fixes the automatic sound/volume adjusting bug, which is the bug that resets your ringer volume to low, even after you set it to high...this normally happens after listening to your ipod or playing a movie, when you adjust the volume, the iphone doesn't differentiate between ipod and system volume. It also does this without having to do anything, as i turned my phone on and off right before i went to bed, set the volume on high and set an alarm, which never went off because sometime in the middle of the night the volume automatically went down to low, even after the last thing i did was set it to high...so please tell me this got fixed!!!
 
My bubble wrap app seems MUCH snappier! Wow! Oh, and Safari seems much snappier now too. In fact, everything is so snappy, it's snaptastic!

Can someone post what bug fixes are listed as being part of the update? I'm just curious.

Actually, it didn't disappear as an Application and loaded fine with the proxy information, however trying it now, Safari just gives me an error and I can't get anything to load

Netshare has always been a bit temperamental so it could just be my set up.
 
Mine downloaded fine, but it has been "backing up" for about an hour now. This is ridiculous.
 
Please can someone from the UK post here their experience with regards to 3G signal after the upgrade? Some people in other threads have speculated that software upgrades would improve reception....
 
Everything seems a lot snappier. I've been loading apps like crazy and not a problem with one yet (haven't noticed keyboard lag either)!
