iPod touch 2.0 is here!!!

So, I am so tired.... I'll go to sleep and will check for updates tomorrow... my mouse can't click anymore...

Still getting the error message here in MN... I hope they're rebooting the servers soon - I want to see if they'll really release it by 11:59:59 PM PST :D
 
I just installed from the link that was provided earlier on apple's site. I spent the past hour finding wifi (apparently our house wifi is messed up) and trying it out.

It took me 5 min to install the software once I had it downloaded. All I had to do was load it and click update, and then click restore from backup and it went through everything error free.

As far as I'm concerned, apple botched this one big time. I downloaded it from that link because I want the software now, I could care less about the price. But its apple's loss.
 
Still nothing on the east coast (Upstate NY), though I do notice the servers are actually trying to respond.

Update: I think they have taken the servers back offline, hopefully in a final attempt to fix this before July 12 arrives EST.

The day isn't over until 3:00 AM your time on the West Coast, which is the only time zone apple is worried about right now.
 
We are all pretty pathetic :p but it's fun right? :D

And... I'm going to stay up until 2:00 Central Time, just to see if it does get released "on time" :rolleyes:

Lol, and I hate how they tease us with the App Store! I have 24 apps that I downloaded and I just want them on my Touch! :cool:
 
i'll prob end up staying up until 3am east coast time just to see if it ever comes out to...im soooo annoyed!!!!! lol:(
 
I may just wait until tomorrow morning to get it. I don't want my Touch bricked like some people are having probs with.
