Ok so I already had the firmware but I clicked the link from Apple's website and it asked me to buy the firmware, I did and it didn't download anything because I already had the latest firmware.


There now I don't feel bad about stealing the firmware, seeing as I just paid for it.


Touch owners let celebrate!!

I got the update in less than 9 minutes... with other stuff downloading.


Praise be to the broadband and the internetz.

lol, its still working...its probably due to the fact that I have 560 songs and about 3.5 hours of video...😉


EDIT: YAY!!! Finally its actually gotten around to restoring.
 
I restarted my computer and opened iTunes again and it automatically opened up to a page that promtped me to download 2.0! After clicking yes to basic liscence agreement, another pop-up prompted again to begin the update. One I clicked that it started downloading! 40 minutes left. I hope.
 
i got mine up and running but no apps actually work they make it just return to the home screen, i'm downloading some off the app store right now and some i got had ready in itunes but nothing works so far 😕
 
Ok, this is starting to freak me out.


I have only had my Touch for 3 weeks now.....


But.... Since when does it make audible sounds ?


It is restoring the 30+ gigs right now and it is making a ring-tone like sound every few minutes.


I was not aware that the touch had an internal audio source ?
 
i'm still using leaked version build # 5A345 from earlier today. it works great.

not sure what the difference is from 5A347
