I'll take full credit for the jump to 2.66 on the 15", as I bought 2 weeks and 4 days ago. Not a big jump, but if it turns out the new ones support 8 gig.....

Never, the next update for the 17" will most likely by mobile core i7 due in Q3 2010 (August time next year). That would also fit nicely into the 15" 12 month cycle.

Ha, what are you smoking? Apple will for sure add some kind of a bump in about 4 months.

Officially they don't, so I highly doubt they will unofficially like the old ones. Another way for Apple to get people to buy the 17"
