Well, didn't he have a nervous break down in the Super Bowl? Something like tossing cookies instead of passes?

Yep,he holds the record for projectile vomiting in a Super Bowl...
Heard this exchange last night on ESPN between Salisbury and John Clayton. Never liked either one,but at least Salisbury's the kind of guy you can crack a beer with..Clayton reminds of the geek everybody picked on in school:

Salisbury - "If you're a good QB you should be able to fit into any System"

Clayton - "What system were you good in?"

Salisbury - "I wasn't good in any system because I stunk, I know one thing though you were there handing me towels when I got off the field!"

Talk about getting owned in the end,lol...

Gawd, wish I could have seen that. I hate them both, but Clayton moreso. He looks like a shriveled penis.

Has Grossman ever put up numbers like McNabb? I agree McNabb can be a sensipoo sometimes but you have to admit Philly fans are a bunch of ingrates.
Kinda hard to do that when Grossman has only played like one full season. It has less to do with putting up the same numbers as it does that he's under constant scrutiny and criticism for making mistakes that most other quarterbacks make, even when he makes 'mistakes' that aren't his fault (the interception in the San Diego game is a great example). Though he did send them to the Super Bowl last year...well, the defense mainly did that. ;)

I'm just saying there are quarterbacks who aren't black who are getting crapped on just as bad, if not worse.

Take a sensitive Black QB and put him into the Philly sports market and you'll get the same result everytime. Just ask Charles Barkley.

McNabb needs to shut his mouth. He wouldnt be under the microscope if he played anywhere else. Its just Philly fans. they Boo everything that screws up. And people need to shut up about Grossman i live in chicago and im getting sick of hearing it. he has better numbers so far than peyton manning had at this time in his 1st 2 seasons.

When you've got a $115 million dollar contract, you're under a microscope. Even moreso when you're not producing. When you're getting that kind of paycheck, fans want wins, not "woe is me" excuses..

I sorta like Salisbury. He does come across as a pompous ass sometimes (often?) but I think his information is pretty spot on.

Well, some cities suck more than most. Philly and New York rank right up there. Booing McNabb? Booing A-Rod? What asses.

And as for McNabb, I'm a little disappointed in him going the race route. To me, that shows me he is the racist. :(

If you are Christian, everything bad is the devil. If you are a Democrat everything bad is because of Republicans. If you are racist everything bad is because of another race.

Sad really. :(

And this story breaks the same week that Jesse "Jackass" Jackson rips Obama for "acting like he's white".

Sigh...

When will the "race card" be seen as the joker instead of a real playing card?

Booing A-Rod?

I'm not one to defend Yankees fans, but he certainly did deserve it last year. His fielding percentage was .937 and he had as many errors as double plays (24). Plus his hitting numbers were down (.290, 121 RBI, 35HR) from what the highest paid guy in baseball should be doing. I guess he's earning his money this year, but I'm still going to boo him. :p

Anyways, no one seemed to mention the Cowboys signing Tank Johnson. Not sure how I feel about it. He could help once he comes back from the suspension, but I hope the ownership/management keeps a short leash.

I'd be curious as to what kind of condition Tank is in?He hasn't played in a game since last year.
Let's see what McNabb does this week against Det. He looked awful against the Skins Monday night. If he has another bad game, the home crowd will be on him big time..
Sunday night game looks to be a good one,DAL@CHI...

If Dawkins and Sheppard are both out for the game (which it looks like they will be) the Lions are going to have a field day throwing the ball.

Aflac Question

I was watching college ball today and the following Aflac (quack! quack!) question came up...

Q: Which colleges have produced both a U.S. president and a starting quarterback for a team that won the Super Bowl?

A: Whited out... highlight the following lines for answers!

Univiversity of Michigan: President -- Gerald Ford; QB -- Tom Brady
Naval Academy: President -- Jimmy Carter; QB -- Roger Staubach
Stanford: President -- Herber Hoover; QB -- Jim Plunkett or John Elway
Miami University (Ohio): President -- Benjamin Harrison; QB -- Ben Roethlisberger

EXCELLENT trivia question if you ask me! I had no idea that it happened once let alone several times. :D

WOW!! What a game in Arizona  Norv Turner sucks as a head coach..He's got the best player in the league and can't do s**t with him.

Norv Turner sucks as a head coach.

I don't know why he keeps getting chances. He has failed everywhere he has (head) coached. Skins, Raiders... CHARGERS.

I hate it when owners keep recycling coaches instead of giving younger guys or assistants more chances.

And what is it with the Chargers always mimicking the Redskins. Beathard, Schottenheimer, Turner... and they aren't even smart enough to copy the good parts.

Big difference between being a coordinator and sitting in the big chair. Turner's had more than his fair share of shots at head coaching and has failed miserably in each...

Brady to Moss = win.

Brady: 23/29, 311 yards, 4 touchdowns, 0 ints, 150.9 rating
