I think I'll be spending most of this season with my head in my hands, pretty much like I have most of this game. This is pathetic.

lol rex throws into double coverage and gets picked off... lol what a failure.

crowd is chanting for Greise

griese > orton.

bears should have brought in leftwich when they had the shot, he's decent.

Romo doesn't have great pocket presence. He's like the most overrated qb in the league. Manning and Brady have great pocket presence.

The most overrated QB in the league is leading an offense that has racked up 116pts in 3 games and moved the ball pretty much at will against the Bears D. As a 'Skins fan I'd be more than happy to see Romo's "beginner's luck" fade away and TO have a massive melt down but the more they play the less likely I see that happening.

Lethal

If the Bears ever get themselves a QB,they're going to be one helluva team. I'm surprised they didn't bring in Leftwich for a look??
Anybody catch Tomlinson's post game press conference? I refuse to call him LT, because there has been and only will be one LT that played in the NFL..He played LB for the New York football Giants..You can catch Tomlinson's conf here:
http://www.chargers.com/ Click on "Sunday: Ladainian Tomlinson" in the upper right. Grow some balls and do something for your team during the game instead of whimpering like a b***h after the game.....
Somewhere,Marty Schotenheimer is laughing his arse off today..Is he the only coach that's ever been fired after a 14-2 season?

But WTF? happened on the punt return of the Cowboys where a fair catch was called, but he ran with it anyway.

Oh yeah: FIXED.

Right. I guess you didn't notice that he caught the ball on a bounce, when you can't fair catch it. He just waved his arm to try and throw off the coverage team.

The only thing fixed is the Cowboys' offense, and the Bears looked BROKEN.

I was under the impression that waving a fair catch on a punt and then running with it was a penalty. If it isn't a penalty when off a bounce, then I guess that's something I didn't know.

I posted the 'fixed' thing before the second half, when both offenses looked horrible as the Bears D was pretty much dominating the Cowboys, and the Bears O played with the efficiency of a small town high school team with a bad reputation. Then the second half Cowboys surge came when Lance Briggs was out, and eventually Ogunleye came out, Vasher came out, and I think Tommie Harris came out at some point; not like the Cowboy's O didn't have a little bit of help there. And the fact that Grossman's interceptions kept the defense on the field for far longer than they would have liked.

Anyone take issue with this week's SI Power Rankings among the 3-0s?

1 - Pats
2 - Colts
3 - Cowboys
4 - Steelers
5 - Packers

Two things about the NFC: I do think the Cowboys are the best team in the NFC, though it's painful to admit it. And I'm surprised to see the Pack at 3-0, but it's nice to see, though I doubt they'll have that perfect record when they play Dallas in Nov.

Well, I'd probably rank the Top 5 as so...

1 - Pats
2 - Colts
3 - Steelers
4 - Cowboys
5 - Packers

The Cowboys have a running game and the Packers don't... so I put them ahead of Green Bay. Plus, I'm waiting for Favre to start throwing his two interceptions per game again... that should kick in by mid-October.

Most disappointing teams would have to be...

1 - Chargers
2 - Saints
3 - Bears
4 - Rams
5 - Giants

Even as a Dallas fan, I understand your reluctance to praise them. :);)

The Packers defense has truly been surprising this year, and Brett Favre is chugging along like he's fresh out of college.

I am sick of how each Cowboys' win is lessened by the media's taking shots at the other team for mistakes. The Bears were the team to beat until the Cowboys beat them. Then their credibility as a Super Bowl team was questioned, and the Cowboys victory did nothing for them but increase stats.

As for the rankings, this is how I believe they should go:

1 - Patriots
2 - Cowboys (Call it bias, but did anyone even pay attention to the preseason? That is, the Cowboys - Colts game)
3 - Steelers
4 - Colts
5 - Packers

No, because it's the ****ing preseason and it doesn't mean ****.

Romo's had a couple of good games and you're saying he's better than one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history? lol.

What? You think Romo can beat Manning?! Can you pass me what you're smoking?

No, I think the Cowboys can beat the Colts. Peyton Manning is a far superior football player than any one player on the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys as a team are superior to that of the Colts, however. If I remember correctly  the Cowboys snapped the Colts' undefeated season last year and outplayed them in their preseason matchup. The only real difference between the Colts' Super Bowl team last year and their team this year is the progress that Joseph Addai has made as a runningback. Hats off to him.

I am saying the Cowboys are better than the Colts. Yes, I understand the preseason is hardly a measuring stick for what's to come, but in the first quarter of the Cowboys - Colts preseason game, the Cowboys' starters outplayed the Colts starters.

I got pissed at DirecTV and canceled them. (Sign up for the $29 package and it turns out to be $59 with tax, surcharge, DVR fees, etc...)

SO... I am listening to the MNF game on the radio. Westwood 1.

Not bad. I sort of like the crew they have.

I have Game Pass but those local yahoos (home or away) SUCK. I was listening to the Nashville feed and I swear to god they said something about Boss Hog and the Boar's Nest. Hicks.

Peyton Manning would shred the Cowboys secondary. It would be a fairly high scoring game but the Colts would come out on top by about 10 points.

If the Cowboys had a healthy Terrence Newman, then I beg to differ. It would be an especially tough (dare I say) victory for the Cowboys' defense because of the flexibility in the Colts' offense with Addai playing as well as he has been.
