Ummm,you're kidding me right??Not even a FG? Pats/Raiders both threw the ball during a snowstorm..Last year at Foxboro,the Jets beat the Pats on a field equally,if not worse,than the one at Heinz tonight. Please,stick to baseball..
Why don't they just put field turf down. Why bother re-sod the field only for it to turn to mud.
A snow field means the ground is frozen, 2 inches of rain in 2 hours is not going to help anyone if the field was just put down a day ago.
If you don't get traction on a field its not going to matter who's playing on it.

Ummm,wrong..Football's been played outside for years.In mud,snow,rain etc. Teams have been able to score in the mud. Let's get real.. Steelers are a northeast team. No excuses. Not even a FG yet..Totally pathetic display..
Mud is one thing but that field is horrible. I don't even think the sod took.
The decision to go for it after the delay of game penalty wiped out the FG try is a good indication of how bad a coach Cam Cameron is. In a 0-0 game you have to give the FG a try, especially considering it's 4th and 11 and the footing will be betetr than on the previous snap.

I'm loving this game. It's a great change of pace from the high scoring games we see every week. A good defensive (part of the defense being played by the rain) football game.
The last time a game went scoreless this long was the Snow Plow game the Pats won 3-0 against the Dolphins in 1982.

Awful..What a tragedy
And the news had been more positive. That really is a shame. In the past year or so, he really seemed to have calmed down. Such a shame for his girlfriend and daughter - and a real shock for the team.
dang. and it seemed he was starting to do better.
I heard on NPR this morning that he'd died. That's sad. I hope they catch whomever did it.
That rivalry.. It's one of those that no matter how bad one's season is, as long as they can beat the other team, the season isn't a complete loss.

Being a Redskins fan, this is very difficult to take. But being a human being, this is even worse. Many people say he was a thug, a punk, and just worthless... while he may have made poor decisions in the past, he had a little girl recently. According to the people that he plays with and the media around here, as of lately, Sean turned his way.
It's hard to see a man in his prime, trying to turn things around, murdered in his own home. Just a sad day...
