    2007 was the year I...

    • Went back to hospital for a third operation
    • Became a mod here on MacRumors
    • Fell out of love with my job
    • Discovered that I needed more professional training
    • Didn't find a partner, except I did find some new and cherished friends
    • Bought a new MBP, put Leopard on it and set up a home server on a G4 PowerMac
    • Had my central heating repaired
    • Visited Scotland and ate haggis for the first time
    • Went on anti-depressants and came off them again, when doctors realised that this wasn't the solution or the problem
    • Bought some classical music for the first time (Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and others)
    • Cut my hair shortish
    • Visited Hull and had a pint of Roaring Meg with Jaffa Cake :)
    • Fully felt that time was running out...

Check. Is that a good thing or bad, btw? ;)

Been there, not so much the job, but the job situation has been terrible this fall.
I have actually bought several books to learn a few new things and a couple of old things better, but because of the point above I've yet to open them... feel like I'm slightly in over my head much of the time... :(
I know the feeling... my biological clock is actually audible by now... :(

All in all 2007 has been a depressing year.

But luckily, there were a few nice things, too...

    * attended my first MR picnic
    * earned enough to support myself properly for the first time in like 10 years (student life and later freelancing has taken its toll)

    :)
