Oh dear WBA 2 - 1 Man City. They are now properly in the relegation zone. Shame.

Liverpool - Mascherano = losing against Arsenal.

I like the WBA kit and crest... discuss.

Some interesting results yesterday, i kind of feel sad.... no wait, glee at City loosing and being 3rd from bottom!

And Liverpool - Arsenal drawing.... awww such a shame :D

But knowing united we will go and throw this golden opportunity away! :( we have 2 games in hand (to Liverpool / Arsenal) that's a potential 6 points that would put us a point behind Liverpool

Away at stoke - we should win
Home to Middlesbrough - a hard match but we should win too.

of course Liverpool are home to Bolton which they will walk
Arsenal away to Villa ---- hmmmmm

Actually, ManUtd home game is against Fulham, bot Boro.

The lack of a sponsor on their shirts means that West Brom's players always cut a stylish dash on the pitch, even if their performances suggest otherwise.

lol. Funny and and for the most part true. They did however earn promotion. ;)

And, yes, I realize they are just as quickly going to "earn" relegation.

Also, looks like Arsenal's season is getting worse: Fabregas out for 4 months: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/7794770.stm

The players Ramos seems to be after aren't really the Real Madrid type. Remember Gravesen? He lasted 6 months and even Owen. When they signed both of them I knew they wouldnt be there long as they are not the Real Madrid 'type'.

Its like Hleb and Gudjonsson at Barça. They arent really in the Barça mould. To be fair to Gudjonsson though his attitude is excellent and he is now changing his style to suit Barça and he is getting more games. I can't see Hleb being at Barça long, his hearts in the right place but I dont think hes good enough.

Getting back to Madrid. With Calderon as president and Mijatovic as director no one will be given the time they need to adapt and will subsequently be discarded after a short period of time. This includes Ramos and Diarra. Huntelaar will be there for 2 seasons maximum and you can hold me to all this in the future. :)

Hleb is a very talented player. His problem is a lack of consistency, but the Spanish league is more suited to him than the Premiership was. He is very very skillful and talented, he has a fair chance of staying at Barca if he produces what he is capable of.

Fabregas out for 4 months is a huge blow.. it will be interesting to see what Arsene does in the transfer window - to be honest he definitely needs to bring people in, and did even before the injury.

It'll take far more than two goals against Bolton to silence anybody.

Well, ya gotta start somewhere. But yes, we need more from the Irishman. I remember when, after weeks of disappointment, Chelsea faithful rejoiced when Shevchenko scored a brace against Wycombe in a cup tie a couple seasons ago...then faded back to his usual uselessness. I hope Keane has a brighter future at Liverpool than Sheva did at Chelski.

No, we're visiting Ma and Pa Cake today so we listened to the debacle on the radio. Mind, on Sky Sports News we got to see an enraged Phil Brown deliver his half-time team talk out on the pitch, in the penalty area in front of the traveling Tiger Nation - live! - as OllyW shows.

I am actually at my in laws and I was able to view this debacle live via foxsoccernet.

Imagine my embarasment after I told my father in law about this great upstart squad that was kicking the sh*t out of all these old Prem teams... feh.

Anyway, the Amber Tigers actually seemed to have the better of them from time to time and kept the ball in the attack zone... Man City made the best of some very good scoring opportunities. The Tigers kept me completely frustrated though by turning the ball over with some pitifully soft touches and weak passes. Anemic to say the least.

But I did get to see the legendary Dean Windass play football!!!!
