lol, romo's out a month with a broken pinky.

Yes but all hope is not lost for us Cowboys fan, Brad Johnson can work the short passing game and with Barber and Felix in the back-field you cannot rule us out. Playing the Rams, Buccs, Giants and then getting a bye-week, I can see us going 2-1 without Romo.

At least I hope:rolleyes:

Now Brad Johnson gets to listen to TO whine for the ball....This will be fun to watch...As well as watching Jerry Jones during the game.

Palmer could need surgery??They just might have a shot at 0-16 if he's done..
PALMER TO BE CHECKED BY METS DOCTORS

In a development that will do nothing to stop speculation that Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer might need Tommy John surgery, Palmer reportedly will be examined by the doctor who routinely examines members of the New York Mets.

Dr. David Altchek will be looking at Palmer’s elbow this week. Palmer decided to visit with Altchek after being told that the injury is common to baseball pitchers.

And Tommy John was a baseball pitcher.

The quasi-official story on Palmer is that he has inflammation and no structural damage, but that the inflammation could lead to structural damage. Generally, folks around Palmer are being tight lipped.

After missing the game against the Browns on September 28, Palmer played the following week at Dallas. He then missed Sunday’s game against the Jets.

The 0-6 Bengals host the 4-1 Steelers. The Bengals were supposed to then have a bye, but the rescheduling of the Ravens-Texans game from Week Two moved Cincy’s trip to Houston from November 9 to October 26.

Johnson is a very good QB if he has time. He can't scramble or move around in the pocket so his O-line better get their act together. They let Romo and the kicker get their teeth handed to them this past week.

Wow, the Giant's suck...

So do the Skins, the Cowboys and well, everyone else in the division that is supposed to go to the Super Bowl.

As much as I enjoyed this win. I wish it was brady in there getting his a$$ handed to him. But then again I think the out come might have been different. And this is coming from a big blue fan! ;)

I was really looking forward to booing Brady when the Pats visits Oakland in December. That was one of few things I was looking forward to this season. :( Oh well. Knowing the Pats won't win it this year is a small consolation.

You know I just realized a few weeks ago that my season tickets are really just excuses to hang out with my friends, have fun, drink and be rowdy. The football is secondary. Maybe next year won't be so painful.

You know, it almost seems as if the NFL winked at Jerry Jones and told him to handle his mess... but he didn't do anything and let the Pacman play last weekend, so the NFL came back this week and did something themselves.

The Cowboys traded a fourth round pick this past draft for the Titans' fifth round pick in 2009. The Cowboys lowered their fourth round pick to a fifth rounder in the next year's draft for the headache that is Pacman Jones.
Not to mention that the Cowboys are already paper thin at CB. They will be asking fans in the stand to suit up and start at CB pretty soon.
They sent a lot of high picks for Roy Williams..Let's see how he and TO coexist...

He'll end up loving Roy Williams because a lot of pressure is off of him now. Teams won't be able to double cover T.O. on every play now unless they want for Williams to kill them. Williams is also 8 years younger than Owens, so it's a good deal for the Cowboys as an insurance policy in case T.O. does go down to injury.

That's all well and good provided the O line gets their act together. They let Romo get his jock handed to him on Sunday. Not to mention the fact that Johnson is starting the next few weeks...Somehow,I think Jerry Jones is hoping for an uncapped year when the CBA expires...

Raider fan huh....... sorry. ;)

T.O. and Roy Williams. This should be interesting to say the least. I look forward to see how T.O. will handle the situation if Roy gets more catchs and a couple more td's over T.O. Very interesting.

The pac man situation was bomb waiting to happen. I wish to god we would have never picked him up. Oh well.

Yeah,it's going to get real good there:
$9 MILLION PER YEAR FOR WILLIAMS

The Dallas Cowboys, undoubtedly conscious of the fact that Terrell Owens received a three-year extension worth $9 million per year, will be paying wideout Roy Williams at the same rate.

Per Chris Mortensen of ESPN, Williams’ five-year extension with his new team is worth $45 million. The contract also includes $20 million in guaranteed money.

But while the Cowboys were careful not to pay Williams more per year than T.O., Williams still got a better contract, with $7 million more in guaranteed money and a longer overall term.

And remember that we’re talking about T.O. The fact that another player — a lesser player, in Owens’ eyes — is being paid as much per year surely will cause Owens to stew and simmer and eventually boil.

Especially after games in which Williams gets more balls thrown his way.

Yeah, this trade is gonna end up being a great development for the Cowboys.

I hope that Pac Man is gone from the NFL for good..

+1

If Jerry Jones would of suspended him for a game or two that would probably played in the favor of "Pacman"he may of not received further discipline from the commissioner.

The reason Jerry let the league suspend Packman was so he could cut him and get a draft pick back.

Would that happen? That's pretty slick of Jerry if true! He actually just gained a point in my mind! ;)

(Hey, who is that chick in your avatar? I need her.)
