Gotta love that Nikefootball ad with LT and Polamalu. Makes me smile each ad break it shows up on...

Yeah, it's pretty solid. Though I still have a massive man-crush on the Nike ad that Michael Mann did with the theme from Last of the Mohicans, and Shawne Merriman and Steven Jackson.

That stupid commercial gives me goose bumps.

In other news.. me wife and I pick games every week. I am 1-7 this season. Tonight's game (if the Squeelers win) means I can tie, otherwise I fall to 1-8.

Sigh.

OK, no comments on the games this week?

Tuned in for the last 3 minutes of the Jets/Pats game.

Now I'm going to offer my OT prediction. Favre throws an INT on third and long Pats either run it back for a TD or score the figgie.

Edit: I know I'll be wrong, but after seeing it happen for so many years in GB, I have to hope to watch for the INT when I don't care as much.

Wow that game was ridiculous... the Pats really deserved the win, they just had so many stupid mistakes. Cassel had a really amazing game, I've gotta say.
Seriously? I don't think they deserved it, it could have gone either way.

So who is the best team right now, Giants or Titans.

nope he pulled it out.. broadway brett still going strong. he seemed strange in the post game interview though. wonder what hes thinkin?

Can't wait for the Cowboys game to come up, we get Romo back finally so maybe we can actually have a quartehorse that will throw more than one accurate pass per game.... So now I hope the boys actually come to play, because they have been crap this year...

And I still can't believe the Titans! Where did 9-0 come from??? They didn't do too well last year, so I guess benching Vince Young and his craziness right now was the smartest thing they have done... Seems that the 3 players Young, Bush and Leinart that all came to the NFL from the Rose Bowl, Bush is the only one doing decent, as long as he stays healthy.

Yes..Beat themselves just like they did in the Colt's game. Cassel did all he could, some of his teammates need to look in the mirror..Mayo's a stud. Not having Warren, hurt the D line.
Titans and Giants can be 1 and 1a..Not much separation between the two of them right now. Definitely the two best teams in the league.

Mayo had 20 tackles in the game yesterday (16 solo). That's insane. Not having Warren and Thomas was probably the difference maker in this game, but there's nothing you can do about that.

In the end, a loss is a loss, but it wasn't a bad night. Cassel showed great poise coming back from a 24-6 deficit and leading touchdown-scoring drives in the last 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter and last minute of the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, overtime basically comes down to the coin flip, and they lost.

Dolphins next week is pretty much a must win, especially with the Pats having an extra couple days to rest and prepare.

I'm rather impressed with the Atlanta Falcons this year. I was expecting 1 or 2 wins, not the 6 they have now. They may even make the playoffs. That would be awesome if they do.

Also has anyone noticed how Sunday Night Football is turning in to the NFC East show? Its starting to annoy me. 6 of the 17 games involve an NFC East team, both the NFC North and AFC South have 4 games, the AFC East and West have 4 games, with every other division getting 2 games.

Just though I'd point this out.

Must win because it's a division game and you have to start thinking about tiebreakers now. That's what hurts about the losses to the Jets and Colts.
Was impressed by Cassel..When you take the leash off and let him throw downfield, and into the endzone in the red zone, good things can happen.

I'm not surprised..The NFCE sent three teams to the playoffs last year and has the reigning SB Champion. Two of the three Thanksgiving Day games have an NFCE team in them.
And yes,the Falcons are having a nice year..Good to see Ryan picking up where he left off at BC..

The NFC East is the toughest division in football right now. Giants/Eagles was more of a blow out then expected. Cowboys/Skins should be a great game.

No brainer, isn't it? :p
Ya your right, the Giants are far superior.

I don't know... isn't the recent record something like 10-2 in favor of the Cowboys? Plus, Portis will either be hurt or out. So that's that. Cowboys again in an easy one.
The way the Boys have been playing lately don't expect a blowout. It is Mr Jessica's first game back as QB and that team is a mess.

Wow, the Skins have had three bad calls against them and it's only half time.

1. Ball down on one foot line.
2. Barber elbow down before TD.
3. Portis out of bounds with thirty seconds left in half.

The NFL really wants the Cowboys in the Super Bowl. :(
