Of all the teams in the league to start complaining that they might not make it to the Super Bowl with a back up QB, isn't it a tad ironic that it's the Pats?
After all, wasn't Brady your backup in your first Super Bowl year and only got on the field because Bledsoe was injured? Who knows... history may repeat itself.

It wasn't quite that extreme -- they were on the San Diego 23 with 31 seconds left. They had 2:21 to go 68 yards.
But still, an amazing drive to win the game.

Everyone is ignoring the Steelers, but I'd argue that they were the most solid team this weekend.
Steelers vs Eagles/Cowboys in the Super Bowl.
If beating up the Texans counts,then yes,they were the most solid of the weekend..

In other news, Shawne Merriman is going to have PCL and LCL reconstruction surgery and is going to miss the season. Smart move on his part.

The Chargers are getting jobbed again. They had a bad call go against them (a fumble when he was clearly down) but the refs said that their replay system was down and they couldn't review it.
It's available on my $67 Panasonic from 1979 but they can't review it. BS!

Watching my Niners play 'how many ways can we give this game away?'
It's like a comedy of errors watching the Niners play.
They blocked a punt, let the Seahawks pick it up and run for the first down and eventually the TD.
Then they go on offense, get two false start penalties in a row, take too long a drop and get sacked only to get a break when the Seahawks get a somewhat dodgy penalty for taunting.
Then, Gore fumbles and then they all play 'who wants the ball' fumblelooski til one of the Seahawks linemen score a TD. Nuts!

Indy finally decided to wake up against the Vikes..
Nice job by the 'skins pulling it out there at the end. Special teams almost cost them the game, but the D played tough all game and the O finally step it up when their backs were to the wall in the fourth.
