The report I heard was that MLB will pay $20,000 and the team will pay $20,000 to make up the difference.
They still exist just under another name, and city.

smoltz not starting due to sore sholder

this isn't good news for braves fans...smoltzie isn't starting today due to a sore shoulder...i'm a bit concerned about the rotation age, two 40+ and a broken down mike hampton isn't great in the health department.
