Yup. Last round of New York's stadiums.

Ahhhh one last hurrah. Enjoy it. Especially the Yanks/Sox game, they are always epic. Mets/Giants not so much lol.

I'll see if I can head out to Shea, cause the Yankee Game is gonna be impossible and certainly not cheap.

PM'd you my number. Call me if you decide to come into town...

Anyone else that is going send me a message here.

I went to the All-Stat Game when it was in Seattle. Took part in all the festivities (Home Run Derby, etc.) I dont really like the ASG but it was a cool experience.

I am really pissed I didnt ask for ASG tickets for my birthday. It would have been a great experience.

Awesome, I'll let you know either way.

I'd like to hope the Mess can beat the Giants, but they did get beat by Seattle.

I really don't like the Giants so I'm hoping we can pull out a win. It would be nice to see Lincecum pitch live, but I've no idea how their rotation will play out.

And I'm pretty stoked to have my last hurrah at Yankee Stadium be watching the biggest rivalry in baseball... just got to be sure to not cheer for the BoSox too loudly. :D

Last time I went to a Yankee v. Red Sox, beer and fist were thrown. I dont know who started it, probably us.

I think the only reason Buck does games at all is to annoy the viewer.:p Maybe he should move to TBS with those awful announcers and they can all team up and suck together.

buck admits he doesn't like baseball now. the guy then goes on a huge rant about joe buck, which i think is fair, because why should the voice of baseball hate it so much? fox needs to put kenny albert as their main play by play announcer instead of buck i think.

Joe Buck is a tool bag and so is McCarver.

He does however make a few good points about how people don't have enough time during the week and people keep stepping out.

Regardless, I think he's horrific. And watching him with Aikman during the Sunday FOX Football GOTW isn't any better.

A bit OT for this thread, but the scariest visiting fan experience I ever had was driving down to Philly to watch the Bucs beat the crap out of the Eagles in the opening game of their new stadium. I kept the zipper up over my Lynch jersey most of the time.

i wouldn't argue on that, but for joe buck to prefer reality tv trash over baseball games makes me question his passion for his job.

Agreed. Clearly he thinks he's above the game.

Example: All of us here have our favorite team and root for them and defend them. It's the ability to put the game over the team is what matters the most. I'd like to think that most of us can do that.

Fixed that for you...

It's both.

If the rotation holds to form, Lincecum should be pitching in NY next Wednesday (he starts against the Cubbies this Thursday). I guess he was on the cover of SI this week, so I guess that means he'll get shelled!

If you can catch a start by Matt Cain or Jonathan Sanchez, they're also well worth watching. Sanchez has been very dominant as of late, and Cain pitched a great game against the Cubs last night so hopefully he's gotten himself straightened out for a while.

Or, if you want to witness a truly ugly spectacle, you can try to catch a Barry Zito start. :(

Thanks for the info, Silencio. Lincecum has become one of my favorite pitchers so I'd hoped to see him deal live sooner rather than later. Looks like I'll miss him by a day. Wouldn't mind a Zito start since that would be a big step in the right direction for a Mets win. :D

Ha! I doubt we will see that.

Besides, White Sox will own the Cubs when it is time for the real deal.* ;)

* Just picking on Lee before all you crazy cubbies come after me!

both chicago teams are doing well so far, so it's possible...it's not as if both teams are in last place in their division or league
