Celtic won 4-1.
You must have been crapping yourself at half time! But games are played over 90 minutes and not on paper. Or something.

Do you think there is a reason why Scots tend to do well at Leeds? Has always seemed to be a good breeding ground for them. Or is it just a self fulfilling prophesy (same statistics as anywhere else but they just tend to get noticed at Leeds since Billy Bremner)?

SAINTS IN THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!:D:D:D:D
Accrington Mirren or Stanley Johnston? I actually found myself interested in the match updates against Fulham on Soccer Saturday, going well until somebody got sent off.

I don't really know. Trying to think of hugely successful Scots apart from Strachan, Bremner, & Gray... McAllister aswell I suppose. Hmm. I guess it's probably down to the fact that three of the five best ever Leeds players were Scottish.

Best goal of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkd3HWQu32Q

I was fascinated with Accrington Stanley's tiny stadium...and it was funny when a Fulham player was denied a shot when a crossed ball bounced off a huge divot on the pitch. :D

Morning all! Been a while since I posted. Two transfer related points

@smwatson I see Colchester have signed David Prutton on loan. Is he any good? I seem to remember him being amazing on an old Championship Manager (when it was still made by SI games). I hope it's not another body in Aidy Boothroyd's mission to sign everyone!

@Jaffa I read today on the BBC rumour page that Hull are going to try and bring Mido on loan to play with Zaki??? That can't possibly go wrong.... (I was also under the impression that they didn't get on, but maybe I dreamt that)

He was. First season down in League One he was tremendous playing on the right side of midfield, got forward and scored a few goals and looked like he'd be a really good player for us. Then Wies & Poyet jumped ship and McAllister didn't really play him all that much. But he was still a bit of a cult figure among fans cos he looked like Jesus...

Great character to have in the dressing room by all accounts, very funny interviews.

David Prutton is from Hull, capoeirista – so if nothing else you can be assured there's at least one player in your squad who knows how to talk proper, like what I do. :p

The Mido rumour was doing the rounds last week but the club denied any interest. But we're about to all go transfer window crazy, so we'll see.

Meanwhile, it's emerged that a possible buyer for Portsmouth has emerged – Saadi Gaddafi, son of Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi. That's fit and proper persons test-tastic, that is.

A fit and proper hearing at Premier League headquarters

Premier League Suit: Are you a human?

AN Other: Yes.

PLS: Congratulations! You've passed!!

Sounds about right unfortunatly  Do they have these fit and proper persons tests for the football league as well? There are more than a few dodgy chairmans wandering about there.

Well, if you're human I suppose that means you're a proper person, and you maybe have to touch your toes or something to prove you're fit. Mind, I'm probably imaging the criteria are much more stringent than they actually are.

Meanwhile, I'm very surprised by this news – Rio Ferdinand is facing an FA charge for clocking Craig Fagan one (not Chris Fagan) during the Manchester United - City match on Saturday.

Of course, facing an FA charge and being found guilty of the alleged offence are two entirely separate animals, but I thought this incident had been quietly ignored...

That would be quite funny for him to get banned right after coming off such a long injured spell...I heard that if he does get banned it won't be enforced till the weekend, meaning he'll be available for tomorrow's Manchester Derby: Part III. I hope it's better than Rambo III was...

I think Arsenal and Villa should get something out of those matches. United are still scoring a lot of goals but they are also leaking them. Actually, Arsenal v Man United could be a real goal-fest

Betting tonight:

Forest -1
Liverpool -1
Norwich -1

&

Forest -1
Leicester -1
Doncaster -1

&

Leeds
Leeds -1
Leeds -2

Just small singles on the last one, patents on the first two. Rock n roll.

I got Liverpool, Doncaster, Forest to win

EDIT: What is going on with Leeds these last few games? Since beating Man Utd, you lost to Exeter and us and now down a goal against Swindon.

Forest are a properly good side under Billy Davies, hopefully won't do a Derby if they get promoted though.

Leeds are bloody useless at the moment :(

Really bad first half at molineux for Liverpool... they can't seem to string more than 5 passes together. I see this ending in a draw

So the other team get a two goal start?

This links in rather nicely, the only time I've bet on footie, this happened. Not only can you see the previously mentioned Gary McAllister deflate in front of your eyes, then what I would argue would be one of the greatest goals ever, unfortunately against us, and unfortunately by a then Rangers player.

Relying on Liverpool to win isn't a good idea at the moment! I'm getting nervous about tomorrow's match now.. such a big one, and the start of our blockbuster four..
