And I totally agree with JYork, Montreal/Boston would be fantastic. Just when you think the fans here couldn't get nuttier...

It would be a total fever pitch. Gill against his old team. Begin and Ryder against their old team.

Montreal's too pretty of a city to set fire to, but you know it'd happen.

Sorry dude but nobody beats the fans down here in Philly.:)

I also found out that the money raised from the game being played at the Bell Center is going 100% to charities; props to whoever's idea it was.

And yes, this game was turning into a blowout until they pulled Fleury... Its going to be an epic third period.

Once this game's over, Im changing over to TSN to watch the tail end of the Flyers/Bruins game :)

#5 gone.

No matter what happens, two of the bottom three are in. How awesome is that!

I'm lovin' this year.

Congrats to the Canadiens. Beat Ovechkin and Crosby. How exciting!

(and go Flyers!, I can't believe they've made it to a game 7)

Don't worry bud. They've got game 7.

The Flyers were staying in it just so they could lose to the Pens in dramatic fashion. Notice, no goals against until the Pens were eliminated, and then the Flyers gave up a goal almost immediately.

I hope you're right. They came so close to closing the Flyers out in game 4. Now that the Penguins are out let's hope they can take advantage of home ice in the conference finals. Never thought that would have been possible two weeks before the regular season ended.

I dunno about that. Philly fans, with all their teams, are pretty damn crazy, but I think a case can be made for Boston and Montreal.

I'm thinking Boston might not find a way to solve the Flyers, but the Habs will (damn it).

1993 - there's no way the Habs can beat Gretzky and the Kings, right?

Yeah but they've been playing like a bunch of pansies for the past 3 games. No goals in 134:12 against Leighton after he hadn't played since the middle of March? That's awful. I wish I had confidence in this team right now but they haven't showed anything since the end of game 3. I'll still take home for game 7 and we definitely have a shot, but they need to sack the **** up and go back to playing the physical hockey they played in the first three games. It looks like for the last two games they've been playing scared. I think losing Krejci hurt the offense lot more then a lot of people realize.. he was our best offensive player centering our best line.

The Waco Center will live up to it's name tonght...:D

GO FLYERS...;)

Barry Melrose picked the flyers. Now I feel a bit more confident.

What happened in the past six games is history. Tonight is all that matters. One game. One game separates them from their first trip to the ECFs in 18 years, and hosting their most hated rivals for a chance to play for the Stanley Cup. That motivation alone is going to be what pushes the Bruins over the edge. An ECF matchup vs Montreal would be HUGE for the Bruins, the city of Boston, and hockey in general. This city has always been a hockey town, and it's time for the Bruins to take it back.

The Garden is gonna be ****in rocking tonight. I can't wait.

3-3

A good game now......

So, game 5. I was out, went to see the Phillies who were in town against the Rockies. Watched the score unwind on my iPhone, and it was awesome. Shutout.

Game 6. I was out, went to see the Philies who were in town against the Rockies. Watched the score unwind on my iPhone until the Phils game was canceled due to rain. Drove home. It was a shutout until the 2 minutes that I got to see on TV. So I watched a whopping 60 seconds, and a goal was scored against. Flyers made it out alive.

Ok, Game 7. I get to watch the game this time! Turn it on, dumb penalties, 3 goals against quickly. Damnit. So I turn off the game, and switch to the Phillies game. The Flyers score 3 goals to tie it up. What happened during the Phillies game while I watched? 3 home runs against.

I'm afraid to turn on Bloomberg or something, I could singlehandedly crash the galactic economy.

AND THE FLYERS GET HOME ICE!!! (not that that has helped any team this year in the East...)

But anyway, I knew something had happened when both my work and home phone text messages started going off. :D

Now I'm watching the coverage to see what it was like. I would have been a basket case if I'd seen it all.
