The Panthers will get good rather quickly now that Dale Tallon has taken over as GM. The Black Hawks are his team.... he put them together only to be demoted/fired before the season started. And now, they're in the Finals. Ridiculous.

Actually, tonight, I do. We're having tornadoes hit nearby and the neighbors in my apartment complex are all bastards for having 1-4 dogs in their apartments. Who would do that to an animal or several?

But I digress.

I love the press conference today where Coach Q talked about his time with St. Louis, playing in Chicago, and it feeling like a home game because there were more Blues fans than Chicago fans. Now they're all the rage.
 
Well, this was the game the Flyers could have won.

Leighton played too deep in net. Boucher is absolutely not ready to be playing yet. Several players watching rather than playing, leaving open shooters.

I was kind of hoping for a win as a nice birthday present. C'est la vie. I got to have some burgers with my brother and catch an exciting game. Just didn't get the final result.

We'll see how (if) they adjust for game 2.

It was a good game, but Philly would have had to steal the game to win it. I knew it was going to be Chicago's night.

Now game 2 is a whole other story. I think the Flyers will win game two 3-1.
 
considering how bad the Hawks are at Game 1s and at Home i was surprised that they somehow pulled out a win with this one. although i am happy to see it. monday's game will be interesting to say the least.

Defense and goaltending😱Too many guys standing around and watching the puck😱 Soft goals😱 Monday will be a different story😉 That's why I love playoff hockey. It so unperdictable.🙂
 
Tonights game was a lot better than Saturdays. Game 3 will be the decider if you ask me; if Chicago beats them on home ice its series over pretty much.

The Hawks have been so much more focused on the road that I'm going to say that the Flyers are going to have a tough time ahead.

Same here. Don't know though; I just see Chicago as being too strong for Phili to handle.

Chicago is pretty damn strong. I still think the Flyers have a chance to even the series up though..... and then it's anyone's series.

They need to figure out a way to solve Niemi.......

Not having watched the Flyers during the regular season and only a few minutes of a couple games in the post season, the only glaring difference I have seen has been the goaltending.

Both defenses are, for the most part, shutting down the big name offensive players and the second tier guys have all stepped it up a notched to get the job done.

Niemi has just been unreal in the playoffs and continues to be so. The only thing the Flyers would have to do IMO is get a couple solid goals on Niemi mistakes to hurt his confidence. If that were to happen, then this will be an all new series and anyones to take, even with the Hawks being up 2-0.

All that said, the Hawks are going to win 😎😀
 
The Hawks have played extremely well. The Flyers have only played really well.

That's not going to cut it. Especially against a hot goalie.

There have been a handful of situations where I would say the refs have been inconsistent, but not like previous series where the other team basically had 9 skaters, 5 regular guys shifting, and 4 wearing stripes on the ice the whole time.

I'm not impressed with the Flyers letting themselves get pushed around and not mangling somebody for it. Game 3 is going to be ugly. Game 4, the Flyers will trot out Kate Smith, they'll still lose, and it will just be depressing.

But, at least they won't lose to the Wings. or the Rangers. Or New Jersey. Oh yeah, or Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Boston, Vancouver, Atlanta, Florida, Tampa Bay, Dallas, LA, Minnesota, Washington, Carolina or Nashville.

It turns out there are about 6 teams that I can deal with them losing to.
 
If someone on The Flyers doesn't come out and take a precedence setting penalty in the first 2 minutes on the game, it'll be a long night for them.

That's right Pronger, I'm talking to you.

He's awesome. I think that's funny sh*t.

He's been a guest on HockeyCentral@Noon quite a bit, and he's a great interview.

I'd attribute most of the Flyers success this postseason to him and the way he's changed that locker room.

I'm working the game tonight(running a spotlight😎) Will see how Niemi plays in our house😀.I know one thing,the ice will be a lot better in our house🙂
