Bergeron had some pretty good post season numbers -- certainly leading the team offensively and is quite a defensive-minded player as well. This will hurt because it brings Seguin into his first playoff game and he's not quite ready. Maybe he will step is up.
The B's match up pretty well against the Bolts. I'm sure this will be a longer series and very interesting to watch.
Bruins finally get their revenge and pull out the sweep. The Tampa/Boston series should prove interesting. Go Canucks!
I think it's pretty funny how every other team has dirty players except for the team that you cheer for. Seems to be a lot of that going around this season.
I don't think Boston or Philly fans get to accuse each other's teams of anything.![]()
I witnessed it first hand. It was down hill once Heatley took the penalty after we scored to make it 3-1.Shark's melt down last night. Did not see that happeningPred's still hang'n around. Hopefully their got enough fire power to hang with the Canucks
and where did Rinne come from?
And Zioxide,
I didn't see the hit on Bergeron, but Giroux is NOT a dirty player, fifthy yes
Watch out for Stamkos dude
Good Luck
Peace

One of the CSNNE guys talked to Bergy's agent this morning and he said that Bergy was in good spirits, which is a good sign.
I really hope one of those western series goes 7 so Game 1 will be on Saturday night. The extra days will be key.
Isn't that a euphemism for "not going to play." Otherwise you would think he would say something a bit more agressive like "looking forward to getting back on the ice" / etc... though maybe he did and even that is really content free. I'm not expecting that we'll see him unfortunately.
Does it work that way? I would have thought that the schedules were basically fixed at this point. Last year both conference finals started on Sunday though I have no idea how long the prior rounds were. But - I have no idea how this works overall.
the way it works, is that each series can possibly end on a certain day, so when ever a series is won in 4 games, 5, 6, or 7. Earliest is game 4, latest is game 7 (obviously). The next round usually starts two days after the last game of the previous round....

I think that's how it works for all rounds except for the final series. IIRC, there was almost a week in between the semifinals and the final series because NBC wanted a weekend start.
I just looked it up: The semifinals ended on May 23rd (4 game series) and 24th (5 game series), and game 1 of the finals started on May 29th. They waited 5 days to start. I remember thinking at the time that they really deflated the momentum of the playoffs by waiting that long.
And without getting into an off-topic debate, I just wanted to say good for Sean Avery.
