I always click on it by mistake
You've got that excuse now as to why it shows up in your browser history so much, you cunning 'Dawg you. :D

To make you feel welcome though, here's a wave from your distant cousin Toby Tyke from Barnsley FC...

*grumble grumble*

Simpson went yesterday. The board say we're about to see five new faces. Rumour is they're coming from somewhere in Trafford under the condition that they will all always be picked for the team.

We shall see.

PS. My prediction is Hodgson will reach the long overdue end of the rope and be sacked after Liverpool lose or draw to Blackburn.

Not even half time yet at Ewood and I reckon the only question now is how many minutes after this game will he last before Liverpool make the press announcement.

Maybe Grant at West Ham will beat him to it and go first, before the air has even left the ref's final whistle. Who knows, it could even be Ancelotti if Wolves get their second!

Argh, this is one of those frustrating matches where Arsenal totally dominate but just can't get it in the net.

Oh well, Bale injured, that's the end of Tottenham's season. Van Der Vaart can't carry them all on his lonesome. ;)

Disgraceful tactic by City parking the bus. United must be delighted with how things are going. I'd have put Chamakh on though, go wide and cross it in. Oh well...at least Tottenham lost with Bale injured and Chelsea lost. Still only 4 pts off and 2 behind the bus parkers with a game in hand.

Worst possible results for everybody bar one club. Man Utd fans are laughing at everyone.

Oh, Liverpool. <shakes head> Glad I'm not at home, I'd be reaching for the Scotch.

So then... how many Premier League clubs will be looking for new managers in the morning, then? ;)

Three I'd say by weeks' end - Grant, Ancelotti and Hodgson. Ancelotti's only saving grace is Everton's last minute goal stopped Spurs from pulling clear fro them for fourth.

Houllier will hold on I reckon because I've read the club wants to clear some players with attitude out instead.

For Hodgson, if he does hang on there's at least the respite of the Cup this weekend to distract attention from the poor showing in the League. Ah... they've got Manchester United away.

West Ham have 'Dawg's mates Barnsley. If Grant's still there for it, he daren't lose that one...

The Wolves victory over Chelsea at least makes Liverpool look less horrible, no mean feat.

As for Woy, well, I have to think he's all but gone now, the pressure to sack him will be extreme...I await to see what messiah the owners hire to magically transform us into a winning club in just weeks without any money or new players.

It's as if the entire league is colluding to hand the title to Utd.

Ah... they've got Manchester United away.

Players were probably saving themselves for that one instead. ;)

What about Lincoln has to play their 2nd round replay on Saturday and then straight into the 3rd round match against Wycombe three days later. Assuming they win against Hereford of course..

That definitely does not make me feel better.

However <clutching at straws> we do have a game in hand over everyone above us apart from Manchester "Call the Engraver" United.

I said months ago that I expect to avoid relegation, but have no further ambitions for this season. At least we're on track there.

Yeah, along with the derby win earlier in the season, this is the highpoint in an otherwise utterly terrible season... :( <- See, I cannot even smile even now...

Mumble-mumble...silly game...mumble-mumble...

When Landon Donovan arrives again it'll make an impact. Maybe even end up with a UEFA spot.

MLS put the kabosh on that idea already, though they seem prepared to wilt under "wantaway winger" Beckham's pressure to run off with his Premier League mistress for a couple months.

Assuming United and everyone else competing win their games in hand they (United) would be 8 pts clear of City and 7pts of the Gunners (assuming they also win).

Also was i the only one who felt sorry for Ancelotti having to concede the title? they would be 12pts behind

Just in case this day wasn't gloomy enough, Sepp has piped up with a bunch of garbage about reappraising the 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw system.

So now we'll have a new points system, and we'll play the World Cup in winter, and go with the golden goals in extra time...but no goalline technology of course.

Will nobody rid me of this turbulent president?

Also was i the only one who felt sorry for Ancelotti having to concede the title? they would be 12pts behind

I don't know if I am capable of feeling sorry for Chelsea, but I would not be pleased to see them drop so far out of the race.

EDIT: For the record, I still don't think we should sack Hodgson. The season has been a write-off from day one and no manager is going to be able to change that in the short term. Nothing fundamental can be done till the summer.

Not for Chelsea just the manager. Had his assistant coach ripped from him and his players just won't perform. Then there's the trigger happy billionaire...
