in other news... what an absolute dbag move by the saints to run up the score just to pass Rodgers in TD's.

Rodgers sitting today, breaks the record for QB percentage.

Packers JV team hanging tough with the Lions.

Dbag Suh does Rodgers belt dance after sacking....FLYNN. joke

first time ever both QBs have over 400 yards and 5 TD's in a game. And it's Flynn lol

As a packer fan I really hope ted pays flynn to stay next year. He's a heck of a back up and I'd hate to see him turn in a Kevin Kolb because he gets thrown on a crappy team. What a game for him today. Team records in yards (480) and touchdowns (6) (in only his second career start).

I loved his performance today, but he should really be starting somewhere. He's That good, way way better than Tebow/Sanchez/Grossman et al.

The bad move by the Saints was pushing to get the record for Brees last week in the final minutes by running up the score on the Falcons all the while knowing he would have broken the record at home this weekend. I'm happy for him, but I just think it could have been handled better.

Perhaps it's not good sportsmanship, but is there a "mercy" rule in the NFL??

If the Falcons could stop him, let them. Otherwise, tough.

Tebow time is over. Hopefully now people start realizing that there was no skill or anything else involved with the Broncos short lived winning streak. It was nothing more than luck.

So the Denver Tebows lose with an atrocious offensive showing but looks like they'll still win the division at 8-8

He's gonna be playing in the playoffs though

I said way early in the year that the Broncos won't be going anywhere this year and I still stand by it. Playoffs are still possible but that's as far as they may go.

lions against saints means that the lions will be out of it quickly. i just can't see them winning in the super dome. Since my bears are out i just want to see the lions fall fast, i just didn't like the way they played this year.

lol. running up the score? this isn't ****in pee wees. dont want him to score? play some ****in defense. these guys are professional athletes making millions a year.. play the full 60 minutes.

the falcons should have played defense too.

i'd say its worse sportsmanship to not play the full 60 minutes.

as for records broken today:

Brady passed Marino's 5084.. he'll be 2nd all time behind Brees now. He also threw his 300th career touchdown pass.

Gronk set single season recieving TDs and yards for a TE.

The Cowboys aren't even a football team, they are a boys club and until they fire their current coach, shake things up with their coaching and let Witten and Romo retire and go back to bunking together that's all they will be.

Matt Flynn won himself a huge payday today. Some team will make him a starter next year.

Bears? Jets? Broncos? Oakland? Redskins?
....

agreed - but jason campbell actually started out pretty well. i can't help but think that if he'd been healthy all year we might have made the play offs. or if we'd had carson palmer all year we might have made the play offs.

but the likelihood of the raiders signing flynn, which i would love, is nil. we sold our souls to get palmer.

i have to think our off season wheeling and dealing is going to be very limited...

zioxide - great post.

Marino will be 3rd tho, brady also broke his record. Matthew Stafford was 50yds short of it as well , i hadn't seen him play at all, but damn he throws a damn pretty neat and tight spiral, and i guess karma loves detroit, never seen so many calls go against one team in a game in a while.

Rex cried during the end of the year team meeting. It gets even better. what a douchebag. hahahahaha :D

Uh, no. We don't want any good quarterback. Well, we do, but I don't want to ruin them. Any quarterback, as soon as they sign with Redskins, suddenly become horrible. Jason Campbell, once he went to Oakland, actually did decent. Much better than with Redskins, IMO. Grossman, with the Bears, actually put up numbers, took em to superbowl (Well, the defense did, at least).

There needs to be a revamp of the entire Redskins team, starting with that dbag of an owner we have.
