Its a start! :)
Congrats on your win today

Why thank you! I'm just happy that we seem to be improving. We obviously don't have the talent on the field to hang with the better teams, but unlike last season, we're getting the job done against teams we really shouldn't be losing to (ISU, UCLA).

So we have that going for us, which is nice. :)

Same with the Dawgs
We should beat Kentucky

But the Auburn and the Ga Tech games will be a challenge

Our defense has improved this year
We should have beat SCarolina earlier in the year
Terrible turnovers killed us there

I blame the Boise game on the uniforms :D

Yeah it nice that UT to get into a bowl game. Right now I am hoping Texas Tech gets in this year and the Tubby is the one screwing it over. If they fail to make it to a bowl game I put 100% of the blame on Tubby.

What a game - it's hard to argue that LSU and Bama aren't the two best teams in the country. And I hate to say it, but nobody else seems close.

Well, LSU will go to and presumably win the NC. I'm sad Alabama lost- I honestly thought they played a little better game, but such a heartbreaker with the LSU interception on the 1.

Glad Nebraska got upset- I can't stand them.

Really sad OSU didn't lose- guess we'll have to snap their win streak on December 3rd, if they don't lose before then.

I'm glad we beat A&M, but really sad about Broyles. Shame that he had to go out like this.

EDIT: I agree. I was switching between the Bama v.s. LSU game and the OSU v.s. KSU game and definitely felt like the latter was a college game, but the former felt like a professional game. These guys are good. I think a rematch for the NC would actually be fantastic. LSU would/will DESTROY OSU if they happened to stay #2.

and end of the day you still lost to Texas Tech. I still am enjoying that win and taking OU out of the running for BCS Championship but OU has not been that level all year and do not belong in that game. They struggled way to much this year. Best OU can hopeful is a BCS game at this point.

Iowa I have blocked from my memory.

What does that have anything to do with my post? If we were still undefeated we'd end up playing LSU, and I do not want to play them. I'm the first to admit that we'd lose, and lose bad.

You guys got romped by Iowa, and got destroyed by Texas today- obviously a fluke is nothing to brag about.

If you really think TTU is a better team than OU, I suggest you check any of the polls.

Did I say they were better? I just said I have fond memories of it and was really glad they beat OU in Norman. I have never said that this year TTU was a better team. OU should of won that game big time and instead they got beat on both sides of the ball.

And what it has to do with it is in the edit.
OU does not in any way shape for form belong in the BCS Championship this year. They have struggled way to much on what should of been easy games. They have had massive holes in both their defense and offence exposed this year. OU has been over rated this year.

And you think OSU or Stanford is more deserving? I haven't claimed post the TTU loss that OU belonged anywhere near the NC game. Tonight proved that no one has a snowball's chance in hell to beat LSU or Alabama.

It will need to be an undefeated team. Boise right now belongs there more than OU. OSU has not lost to an unranked team that is not doing so well. Much more than I can say Stanford or OSU.

OU's lost to TTU in Norman should be proof alone they do not belong in the NC at all this year.

I can see you are still bitter for that lose. Fluke or not does not matter TTU out played OU that game.

Alabama did play a bit better, too bad they didn't spend that much time recruiting a kicker hehe, 4 missed field goals, granted 2 were a bit of a stretch, but still... poor kids

Until the games are played you just never know :)

BTW i'm not so sure that was really an interception tho, the ground seemed to play the biggest part in making him loose his grip, but hey what do i know, it was a fun game for the most part tho.

I'm glad my buddies and I had a blast Friday night, because that game tonight was a HUGE letdown. If we don't get our crap together then we will lose to TCU next Saturday. Ridiculous.

I didn't get to see any bit of the LSU-'Bama game. So I have to ask: Was the defense in the game really that stellar, or was the offense out of sync? Four missed field goals. That's so very Brotzman!

OSU is feeling more and more like a team of destiny. They had no business winning at Kyle Field after being dominated in the first half (though that win was just as much Aggie meltdown as it was OSU comeback) and they really had no business winning last night, but they seem to find a way to do it. Their defense is atrocious but always makes a great play at the most crucial time.

I don't think OU has the horses to hang with OSU this year. Maybe if the game was in Norman, and maybe if OU had a healthy running game and Ryan Broyles, but now that those things are gone, I don't see any way that they keep up in Stillwater.

Horrible news about Broyles, too. He always seemed like a good kid. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looked. Same thing for Christine Michael; hopefully he doesn't have a season-ending knee injury for a second straight year.

All that being said, OSU's destiny—if they are a team of destiny—will just be getting hammered by LSU in the BCS Championship Game.

Neither team's running game could ever get going because both defenses dominated the LoS. Jarret Lee was horrible for LSU, but the other QBs in the game were just outmatched by the two opposing defenses.

LSU and Alabama are the two best teams in the country
But who didn't already know that?
Defense wins championships and they have the two best

I think an undefeated Stanford or OSU gets to play LSU
But Boise is out of luck
I think Bama gets a second shot before Boise does
I don't have a vote, but I think that is the way it goes

Of couse LSU will have to get past the Dawgs in the SEC Championship Game first :D
Woo Pig Sooie!
Thanks to the Hogs last night
Although they did everything they could to lose that game

LSU gets Arkansas
Dawgs get Auburn
Both will go a long way to decide the West and the East

If Arkansas pulls off an upset against LSU, I guess the tiebreaker would be BCS rankings? If that's the case, Alabama could end up winning the west almost by default, which would virtually assure us of a rematch of last night if LSU/Bama win out otherwise and Stanford/Okie State get tripped up.

Yeah, you ONLY scored 48 and beat UNLV by 27. Totally crappy performance.

And yes, the defense was that good. See, in the SEC, unlike other conferences, we actually know how to play defense. And now we get to face a pissed off Bama team. Lovely.

Edit: ESPNU is scrolling that the SEC has unanimously agreed to accept Missouri as the 14th member starting in July 2012. It's not on the website yet, though.

I guess since they already posted it early and pulled it they don't feel the need to post it again :p

Yep, Saban will be looking to take it out on you guys

Helluva game last night
I think 'Bama outplayed them, but couldn't execute (field goals), and that interception call... well that was tough
And that 70 yard punt was a huge mistake
Credit to LSU for NOT making the mistakes to cost them
Although that clothesline on the punt was ejection worthy IMO

My son in law is a huge 'Bama fan
He asked what I thought before the game
I said "close and will be decided by who wins the last five minutes"

'Bama took the penalty and sack in overtime that cost them
LSU did what they had to do

Keeping fingers crossed they get to play them again for the SEC title.. Just a little upset, some mental errors but I am hoping we spring back and blow the hell out of who ever we play next. Keeping fingers crossed!!!

On the flip side SEC has much weaker offences.

Mind you the Big 12 does really need to step up there defensive game and if they could step it up some they could cause a world of hurt.
