Yeah, those are the special unis. I wasn't a big fan of them when I first heard about them, but after seeing actual pics of them, they aren't so bad. I really hope they don't wear the gold shoes the model was wearing. Ugh.

Ah well, it seems the players and recruits love all these alternate uniforms, so if it helps recruiting, I can live with it. I just wish we would burn those horrible black uniforms.

video game society we live in is ruining so many things... nothing is worse that that stupid blue field at bosie tho... except most of Oregon's alt uniforms...

Yours don't look so bad compared to the horror the Dawgs wore against Boise

I dunno, I was thinking maybe we should paint our turf maroon and white. :D

I don't think you'll see it again, though, since I remember reading somewhere that the NCAA banned non-green turf a while back. One of the FCS schools has a red turf field. I think it's Eastern Washington or some school like that.

No kidding. Those were bad. And Maryland's may have been worse. Maryland (Under Armor) and Oregon (Nike) have founders of sporting goods companies as alumni and boosters. We got the founder of a lawn care company, so we don't have unlimited uniform combos, but we have killer turf on the field. I guess it's fitting, since we are an ag and engineering school. We actually have a major called turfgrass management.
 
So, if A&M continues this collapse, does Ignatius get his wish and Sherman gets fired? I seem to recall he already fired his defensive coordinator a couple of years ago, so the old "fire the assistants" trick might now work this time.

Anyway, I found this little shirt being sold around Kansas State funny. Then again, they aren't talking about my favorite team, so it doesn't bother me. :)
 
Glad to see the Horns show a little life. Wish the Ags all the luck in the SEC. I'm serious about this.

In painfully typical fashion, Mike Sherman's Aggies choked away another game to an inferior team. UT's defense and special teams played very well, but their offense was utterly inept. Still, it doesn't matter when you are playing against the kind of team that has the sort of the second half meltdowns Sherman's teams have with regularity.

I really didn't think UT had the kind of team that would be able to take advantage of the Aggies' standard meltdown, but when you gift wrap it as neatly as Sherman, Tannehill and company did last night, almost anyone can beat you.

UT scored 17 third quarter points despite mustering only 41 yards of offense after A&M failed, repeatedly, to put them away in a first half the Aggie defense completely dominated.

Yes it was, and it probably gave the Horns the win, but the reality is that a good team would never have allowed the Longhorns to be in a position where one bad call by the refs could have such a huge impact.

This one is, as the previous five losses were, on Sherman. I cannot for the life of me imagine how or why he would be allowed to coach Texas A&M for another day (let alone another full season), but I fear that we are stuck with him for at least another year.

Throw in the Mad Hatter, the SEC and BCS implications and it is primed for wackiness

Bama beat the Hogs pretty handily, but I don't see that in LSU's future
Should be an entertaining game

In the end I think LSU prevails in a game that stays in doubt through 3 quarters

totally agree. i just think that the whole "concern for safety" has gotten out of hand.
