OU President David Boren says we won't have to wait long to find out what conference the Sooners will join.

My bet is the Pac-12, with a few other Big 12 teams joining, making it a "super-conference."

At this rate, within two years there will be only 4 major conferences at the BCS level which then would make a playoff system more feasible.

Ha ha, I have no arguments there. It still makes more sense for OU to join the Pac-whatever than the SEC, for reasons you imply here.

No kidding. I was really hoping Utah State would pull this off. Hopefully, they wore Auburn out and they will be really tired when we play them next week. Either that, or they will be really PO'ed. I will say I feel more confident about next week after watching that game, though.

They ALWAYS think it's going to be a better year for the Irish. They're an irrelevant team who were last relevant before I was born. The only thing more ludicrous than the amount of media coverage they get is the fact that people actually think they're going to be good every year.

Hmmm, that could get interesting. I think UT will pull away in the second half. Your Dawgs are down at the half. We'll see what they can do in the second half. IMO, it'll be close unless turnovers begin to occur.
