Dawgs and Boise both look tight and out of sync
Second half will be about who settles down and imposes their will on the other

We will find out if the Dawgs' new conditioning program pays dividends

Looks like the defense didn't attend many of those new conditioning practices. It looked like they just flat ran out of gas. UGA has got the athletes, but just can't prepare for games anymore.

lets go hokies! we looked good beating apply state (who beat Michagen a few years ago and is ranked #2 in Division 1-AA) 66-13!

I was just glad my raiders won. losing at the half and having 10 points scored on them before they got on the board was rather sad. Mind you they did answer those 10 points with 50 unanswered points.

USF beating up on ND. Some were thinking this would be a better year for the Irish. It appears not.

I'm glad we won last night. Great parting gift for Lee Roy Selmon. He did a lot for the university and impacted a lot of lives on and off the field here in Tampa. He helped make our program. He'll be missed. That and the Gators winning made my day.

I was just happy to see them smack around Notre Dame like that. I can't stand Notre Dame. I just want to laugh at all those people predicting them to go to a BCS bowl this year.

Glad too see Boise beat the dawns. Being a bamafan and all!

Roll Tide!!!!

Eh, I don't mind those other Dawgs, except when we are playing them. Their fans have always been fairly nice, unlike fans of some other SEC schools. I also like their stadium. I'll just keep quite about Bama. :)

After watching LSU, I'm convinced that LSU-Bama game might just end up being something like 6-3 or something. Those two defenses are insanely good.

Oh yeah, I just want to say how much I hate Thursday night games. We play Auburn and LSU within the space of 5 days. Ugh.

It's unreal how many articles and interviews I've read in the last two days going on about how terrible Georgia is. Apparently no one wants to believe that Boise State may just be that good...

Bad news sells better to the larger audience, than good news to the smaller. ;)

Boise's a good team, not a great team
But the Dawgs are really a bad team... really bad
As much as I like him, Richt will likely lose his job this year or next at the latest

The strength of the SEC is in the West right now
LSU looks awfully strong, as does Alabama
Arkansas and Miss State are really good as well

The outcome of that game was never in question. The defending national champions needed two touchdowns (including an onside kick!) within the last 2 1/2 minutes to avoid losing by 10.

OU needed an interception at the end of the game to keep Utah St from tying it up and going to overtime. There was a lot of question about the outcome of that game. I guess winning by seven is that more much impressive than winning by four?

After seeing the uniforms Maryland is wearing tonight, I just want to say I think we have new winners in the WTF?? uniform race. Seriously, those make the Georgia and Oregon uniforms look normal.

Funny - I just stopped by to post the same thing. Holy crap!

I think they look better than the new Georgia ones. However, I do question the need for up to 16 different combinations which includes 2 helmets. That has got to be pretty expensive.

With players strutting down the aisle in their new duds, boosters in attendance were introduced to 16 (yup, 16) combinations of jerseys, pants and helmets over the course of the evening. The jerseys and pants were unveiled in four varieties: red, white, black and gold -- all colors that are prominently found on the Maryland state flag. The red and white tops featured gradient numbers, while the black and gold exhibited solid-color digits. Additionally, a subtle turtle shell design dubbed "Terraprint" is featured on all of the gear as well.

More than likely, the University isn't paying anything for those uniforms. Maryland uses Under Armour, and the co-founders of Under Armour played for Maryland's football team. Probably paying the school to use them, actually.

Yeah, I figure they are Maryland's version of Phil Knight. They are still ugly. What's up with the yellow/black checkerboard?

Think you mean, Auburn and not OU.
